Nutan: Actress BEST at emoting the songs - Page 2

Nutan's emotions/expressions sad songs used be out of this world. I remember many great songs --

1. Teri Rahon Mein Khade Hai Dil Thamake ( Chhaliya)

2. Chhod De Sari Duniya Kisi Ke Liye (Saraswati Chandra)

Not to forget "yeh tanhaai haai re haai" which was so well done by Nutan and Dev Anand in the song. I loved the picturisation.

Thank you Salilu. Nutan and Madhubala are my all time favourites. Her picturization of Chaand Phir Nikla still makes me cry!! I LOVE NUTAN ALWAYS.

andhera hai man ka diya to jala re...

has very goos emotions shown on her face.

Great post Salil'ji.... Nutan is one of my very favorite actresses...... and the simplicity with which she emotes is simply amazing...

Just love her in the song 'Jalte hai jiske liye' - she is not even singing the song... but her face and eyes say it all... 😳

And of course the other favorites are all songs from Sujata and Bandini, some from Seema and Saraswati Chandra...

'Chod de saari duniya kisi ke liye' - another beautifully picturized song on Nutan....

Kusum, there soooo many songs where Nutan's acting moved me so much, made me totally speechless. I still vividly remember the feeling that I had when I saw Sujata for the first time and god, I was very young at that time and cried so much after seeing this Talat masterpiece. Nutan's acting here is perhaps one of her best ---

Jalate Hai Jiske Liye

And there are other songs where she makes you totally speechless-- tera jana from Anadi, tere rahonke khade hai dil tham ke from Chhaliya, chhod de sari duniya kisike liye from Saraswati Chandra.

Yes, Manju di. The lyric is correct. This is from Seema where Balraj Sahani and Nutan acted very well. I saw it many many many years back so I do not remember picturization of all songs. But I vividly remember the one from another Nutan - Balraj Sahani starrer where Nutan's acting was superb ---

Kisse Roke Ruka Hai Saveraa

salil bhaiya mujhe bhi dhundhli si yaad padti hai jahan nutan is walking out & balraj andr se use samjhane ki koshish karta hai ki aise tum kahan jaogi par woh nahin maanati & this song is in background she is walking out... balraj is looking out helplessly... very good song with very good lyrics & good picturization...
