Anu,
Here are few for u: Great Questions di 😊 and yes as adi said its gonna take long time.. for me im getting questions which need lot of explanations.. chalo koi nahin, i luv doing them.. didi, one thing i make clear here is tat, everything is my own perspective, nothing in general... Wat i hv experienced in my life will be here... 👍🏼
Are young people generally more selfish than their parents and grandparents? Does age make you more aware of and caring for others? The young people here meaning the youth nearly frm age of 18 till 26 or 28.. No, young people are not selfish except in the case of few... yes there are young people who have selfish motive.. but in most cases we can see that they arent... We witnessed the youth for equality case where the students came in united... If people had to be selfish then why the seniors called a strike for the admission of their juniors... They could hv been kept quite but they didnt.. they fought for the rights... now this shows one aspect where the youth are not selfish... while the parents and grand parents always ask the youth "Why do you want to indulge in such things, why do you want to help ur frnd who is so far away"... esp the grand parents they ask us "what is the reason yu are poking ur nose into this issue"... but actually youth care a lot for others... But parents are not selfish too... They do things to care for us... Youth care for the friends, youth care more for their inner circle, caring abt society more than a family rather than the outer circle like relatives etc.. But as age goes on, we start caring for others tooo more than the frnds and society.. We do start caring abt relatives, our family, children, society and everything... So, caring is a nature which is available in both just the perspective of caring changes..
Should adults try to teach young people lessons, such as the dangers of drinking too much, taking drugs or catch the AIDS virus, or should they leave them alone to find out about these things themselves? What are the advantages and disadvantages of both approaches? absolutely yes.. but more than teaching this, even though adults teach the young, the young will follow what they want because thats the age whr ppl surely tend to get confused and diverted very soon... But yes, adults can always teach young children abt these aspects...
Advantages: Youth come to know abt such things before in hand or before they come to know by themselves.. Because once the adults warn them, they can be precascious... again here, the company of frnds they choose matters a lot.. if a company of frnds lead them to wrong direction, there is nothing even an adult can do as in this age youth tend to listen to frnds more than the adult
Disadvantage: Youth never listen to the parents.. its usually followed in many cases... thr r very few who listen to the parents as they think parents are old fashioned and they will say to parents that there are new technologies available where we can prenvent such things and go on in their own way
What do you think is the best age to be? Explain your opinion.
There is nothing called as the best age... As every age teaches us a new chapter of life.. The childhood teaches us what is world, how beautiful it is without tensions..
Then the teenage teaches us manythings.. frm what is good and bad as we tend to do bad things and end up learning the write things..
Then comes the age of responsibility.. whr we learn how one can be responsibile towards the other how to care for others etc...
The one whr we say is best is the retirement.. but frankly speaking its not... its whr u learn whr u made the mistake and tend to regret for the mistakes and advise the youth not to make the same again... but unfortunately none of us consider this...
Most countries give young people rights as they reach a certain age. For example, British people can legally make love or fight for their country at the age of 16; they can drink, vote and drive a car when they are 18. Does India have similar laws? Do you think that any of the age limits need changing?
yes we do hv the right to vote rt frm the age of 18.. this is whr as mentioned before we get to know wat is right... after learning frm mistakes we know wats right.. and at 18 we usually enter into college, know ppl, know wats going in and around the place, understand life.. this is whr we tend to get a little maturity.. on the whole we do not get full maturity, but little which is sufficient to judge a politician... but again we never take care abt such things.. we are given freedom to vote, but do we go and stand in queue and do that.. i dnt know... frankly i didnt do till now saying that anyone comes is gonna spoil it, so let anyone come, why bother... but actually, we must utilize.. hope next yr i go and vote... 😛 no limit needs to be changed.. this is perfect...
Some people think you should give something to society before you have the right to join it. Should young people have to do some form of military or community service by law?
It is always good to serve the society.. but not necessarily to join the military or community service by law.. if enforced a law to do something, then ppl tend to break the law and do things unwantedly.. Why do things wat a person doesn like, why force a person who doesn want to serve the society... If he wants let him join and serve... if forced then he will not serve the best that he can which in disguise he may do in his own job like banking, airhostess etc etc.. any job is a service to the society..
Should people of between 50 and 55 be forced to retire from their jobs in order to make way for younger workers?
Young workers surely need job opportunities.. but for that these ppl needn be retired.. my advise would be to ask them stay with the young workers and give them the experience what the adults have gained.. wouldn it be fair? 🤔 Give the adult also work and also the youth...
If people are still able to (and want to) work, should they have to retire when the reach a certain age? Explain your opinion.
No way... If people want to work can work upto any age.. jus to take care that it doesn spoil their health... My fathers uncles who are now 70 are working in LIC and other colleges as profs.. Ppl hv worked in IIT teaching the students by taking spl previlidge frm the institute.. Age has no bar.. If a person prefers to work for a long time in life and utilize the life upto the best extent why cant they do it... They are living the life in their own way and in my perspective ppl must keep on working until its possible for them.. its the best way to serve the society also... And most adults enjoy doing this...
In most countries the legal retirement age for men is 5 years older than for women, even though women live longer than men on average. Why do you think this is? Is this fair, or should it be changed?
Ha, again women related question 😉😆 common yaar, ek question answer kiya, tab se mujhe khaske pakadliya tumlogon ne.. ok NVM... 😉
This is because women tend to get tired soon and after working for so many years, they get tired of working and their many of the physical aspects(i think u know wat i want to say here) make them lazy and tired to do jobs.. This is the reason why women are given 5 yrs less to men..
This is fair in cases whr women really get tired of working and they dont want to work... So, these women can get retirement by themselves...
But now days its actually not like that, women do work a lot even after retirement.. they join many clubs, they work frm home which is the best... So, i think thr is nothing unfair abt it.. its ok, we can live our own life style and work if wanted and not if not needed
Are there many things that the old can teach the young or are they hopelessly out of touch by the time they reach a certain age? What things were you taught by your older family members? How have they been useful to you in your life?
Adults hv experience in work, experience in life, experience more than the youth.. Yes, they can guide in certain aspects of life like the work environment - how to make it best, how to deal with frnds who are adament, how to deal with people, how to behave in a society etc...
But certain are there where we have to learn ourselves and not depend upon anyone... like maturity level, how to handle pressure, what can be done to keep pace with the competitive world etc.. these things though they would hv faced, are certain things which we need to learn by ourselves through our knowledge and experience...
Yes, my parents hv taught me how to deal with people, how to behave in a society, what are manners etc... somethings were useful but again, in my case most things i learnt it by myself thro my experience and my knowledge...
Anolda tells me ur the most matured girl here, when i hear to it i always analyse wat made him say so... then i realise certain things which made me be like this in this matured level.. many personal aspects tend to make us learn things... and im happy to get those experience...
In most countries, compulsory education is targeted at 5 - 16 year olds. Would it be better to offer it to pensioners who want to learn rather than young people who prefer not to be in school? Explain your opinion.
I dont agree to this because, though the young people do not want to attend the school, they have to be given the education.. one day or the other it would be really useful... if the young people say they dont want education, then first make them understand why education is needed.. Then automatically they will develop interest one day or the other... Even if they dont, they will know how to read and write things.. atleast they wont be a dummo...
Pentioners can also be taught.. thr r many night schools for them followed in India... and i think they quite well manage things...
But education for the children is compulsory... They agree it or not... they shld be made to learn things... there is no compensation for education for children
In Russia, China and many other countries, there is a tradition of choosing leaders who are quite advanced in years. Do you think that older people make better leaders? Explain your opinion.
Older people hv experience and tats why they are made leaders but i suggest those countries, (why those, apna desh hi lelo) to have a combination of older and youth.. youth will tell them the pace in which the life runs and aware them more abt the competitive world... older ppl can use their experience to take the decisions.. this would be the best 👍🏼
Many elderly people have disabilities which limit their mobility. Do buses, shops and public buildings in your country provide easy access for the disabled or are your towns and cities designed mainly for the young and able-bodied? Why is this?
Didi, can it slightly better saying it as our country 👍🏼 sorry, might be im wrong... but even ur an indian who is living abroad tats it..
Unfortunately in India the bus stops, shops public buildings do not provide facilities like this for the elderly people.. In places like railways stations, wheel chairs are provided, in very renownd public buildings where rich people live in these facilities are provided.. This is because of the more financial status.. If ppl are rich they tend to aquite themselves with the facilities they require, otherwise they dont get it..
I always see to it that i help elderly people cross the roads, give them the seat in bus etc... but yes, India can more improve on these issues... unfortunately though the rulers are elders they dont try to do anything for the elders.. such a pity
Some people say that men age better than women, and remain attractive longer – do you agree? Explain your opinion.
Unfotunately women's physical aspects are so that her genes make her old very soon and its not in case of a man... But yes now days there are various techniques that are followed by which a women maintains what she is and be as attractive and active as a man...
Some people say that men never grow up, they just get bigger – do you agree? Explain your opinion.
They dont grow up because they tend to get bigger soon as they need to realise the responsibility in earlier age.. Men have to realise the responsibility for which they take long time.. They get to know their things a bit late.. so, they dont grow up little by little, but suddenly one day realise what they are supposed to realise very quicker and tend to get big soon...
I dont know if im right.. but it could be one reason.. Any guy, agreeying to this with me?
Some people say that young women are usually 2 to 3 years more mature than young men – do you agree? Explain your opinion.
Yes thats true.. again the samething.. men are easy going and they dont take much tensions for small issues.. But we women tend to do that... and thus get to know things much faster than the men.. but men are matured in their own way...
I admire a man's maturity.. he does not express things but does tend to explain everything without an expression.. Is this right?
