They are giving just 1 grade only...Those are more like a 'COUNTDOWN'..where ever it ends, is the final grade.Hope that clarifies.

There will be voting in the final round when may be 4 or 5 are left....

No matter what people say, I support public voting in general because it has done good to the singers overall. Public voting brought tons of money to Zee and because of that Zee could add glamor and glitter to the show and that attracted lots and lots of new viewers and participants became recognized faces. So even the non-winners today able to gather huge crowd to their stage shows which gives them good chance of making money even if they do not get to sing for the films. This was not possible before. Ronkini Gupta, Rahul Saxena won multiple competitions in the past when there was no public voting but they are not known faces today and cannot attract as much crowd (if they do stage shows) as the C2005/EMEt non-winners. And they do not have a single film offer yet...

But for Li'l champions, I am not for public voting. The reason is different. In addition to the regional and other factors, sympathy etc. that influence voting, with little kids there is an additional angle. People may have extra sympathy for kids who are much younger in the lot. For example, no matter how much I like Shraddah or Pavani, I think little Gurpreet has disadvantage of age. At 10 she cannot compete on the equal ground as Shraddha or Pavani whose voices getting closer to mature singers. So they will always sound better than Gurpreet if they all sing the same song. Also Pawani and Shraddha may still be kids, but I find it hard to call them Li'l girls. To me Gurpreet and sameer are the real Li'l ones. All these put extra sympathy in my mind for Gurpreet which will influence my voting. I would be more happy to the real Li'l one holding the trophy than the older ones though that may be unfair. So this extra sympathy for Li'l kids may put some older kids to disadvantage in addition to other factors which is not good. Not sure if others also feel the same way as I. I would like to know.

I feel judges are giving very harsh comments to lil kids. I expect a polite approach. After all they are all facing a big psychological pressure at this age. Please don't let their moral down - even if they are not doing well.

I heard about this from a friend. But most of the times I didnt feel that way. Very few times I felt that kids got rude comments.

There was a lil kid in top 22, who askedthe musicians to stop and gave them instructions on when to start. She sang well, but she lost sur at many places. She was not selected and I felt that was good cos, at this point her focus should be on learning it right, not just learning. I thought if she would have been selected she would have been over confident and would have lost her focus on learning it the right way. Many may defer here, its just my POV. I think at this point they need a good guidance, be it a harsh way.

Your explanation is right to the point. There is no fun if tell every singer...Well done...Accha Gaya...Aur Mehanat karo..ete.etc.

I would like to quote Simon Cowell at this juncture. You may feel irretated by his comments, but his comments are more constructive towards positive improvement with contestants.

Well, here the contestants are not adults but kids....still, the comments given are all for their improvement and not to discurrage them.
