Over the years, I watched many many kids special episodes of SRGM (Sonu Nigam) and SRGMP (Shaan). I have seen Abrokanti, Sanchari and many other names that are discussed here. But the best I have seen is Shweta Pandit and Sneha Pant (when they were very young, less than 10 years old) .
SRGMP had come out with Golden Moments series where they came up with special episodes on Shweta and Sneha. I have recording of Shweta's episode and I lost the one I had of Sneha. These 2 girls were just awesome and, to me, the best of all the kid singers that featured on SRGM/SRGMP. If anyone has links to these 2 episodes or links to any of songs by them, please post it.
If I have to single out one song that I liked most amongst all the kids episodes I saw, it will be Shweta Pandit's -- Chanda Ja, Chanda Ja Re Ja. This is an outstanding Lata - Madan Mohan classical song from Man Maunji. (you can listen the original here, La La La Chanda Ja). It very difficult and I was completely bowled over when 9 year old Shweta sang this tough classical composition like an established matured singer. If any one has link to this song, please post it. It is absolutely brilliant song -- a real wonder from a 9 year old Shweta. She looked so tiny but her voice was very sound and very polished in this song. It was a real real treat to watch tiny Shweta siging this brilliant classical composition of Madan-ji.
