Yes, we would prefer to invite more witnesses into the court to avoid hearsay.

However, the Bench wonders why the current and ex-Defense counselors are posting questionable remarks and poetry about their client. 😛

The Defense has a point. Hate poetry has been written before for many people in the entertainment business. Please identify the poet and his expertise in music/any other field which is relevant to this case.

The prosecution is just giving an example how people are hating Mr. Himesh Reshammiya.. This is just an article that was published which was posted here by the defence lawyer Mr. Abhi himself... For which the link has already been given.. The prosecution is apologising if someone has been hurt by providing this as the evidence..

Your honor, the defense can also provide tons of unaccounted poems (written by certain unknowns) praising Himesh ji to the skies and calling him the best MD of this generation, the singer of the future, etc. But we will not. We believe in proper evidence. One poem doesn't qualify to be the voice of the people.

my lord, Prosecution is preparing regarding the evidence and witnesses.. Infact Prosecution has also submitted one of its witness to the bench.. And we will soon be with our witness and evidence...

Friends, Barnali, Minnie and Tanaz,

On behalf of the team which offered to be on the Prosecution side of this case, I would like to make some statements.

This post, as we all know, was started in good fun and at that time, we had joined in the fun. However, all of us got busy with some personal commitments during this period, which has not allowed us enough time to do justice to this thread.

I know that the Judges and the Defence is keen to dismiss the case on grounds of non prosecution of the case.

It is understandable, coming from their side, but frankly, we got busy. The reasons put by the Defence and the Independent counsel implied that we are shying away from the prosecution, that we have no evidence, that we have no material. That is not true. We have them all. But for us to do it and present it in a proper format, with witnesses and arguments, we need time, which luxury is not with us at the moment.

Anu starts college tomorrow. I am tied up with some deadlines. Others are busy with their personal commitments and are unable to be here.

One counsel in fact used an example of a thread where some fun posts were made by one of the Prosecution, implying that while we are having fun, we are shirking away from our responsibility to the court on this matter. On behalf of the prosecution, we again repeat that we are not shirking our responsibility.

But we would not be able to continue on this post. Somewhere down the line, we dont want to continue it either. What started as a fun post by all suddenly turned serious and it was never our intention to make it serious.

Some of us have even been bombarded with pms from some fans of HR. On behalf of the team, I would like to clarify here that WE at the PROSECUTION TEAM are not anti HR. We dont hate him. To us, this was just a FUN POST. However, it is not being viewed as such. We are not here on this post to bash HR or make HATE posts.

We are therefore leaving this post here, as a fun post.

Trust this post will be appreciated in the sentiment in which it is written and no further motives will be attributed to any of the members of the Prosecution team.

We regret the inconvenience caused to everyone.

I understand the Prosecution's problems - it is very difficult to find time nowadays. However, there is a certain responsibility we have towards the fellow forum members. I have no problem with my client being discussed or criticized for his singing or music. But HR Fans do have a problem when Himesh ji is being made fun of. A majority of people in the forum may like that, but not everyone does.

Like I said before, I took this case not to prove HR is a good or bad singer or MD. I took it only because I was tired of him being blamed unnecessarily, and without evidence or facts, for everything under the sun. Things like - he is a threat to Indian culture, he is misleading the youth single-handedly etc.

HR fans on this forum asked me why I was getting into this HR bashing topic. I said I wasn't getting there for fun, but to help HR and finish HR bashing. I have a responsibility towards them - to see that their idol is not bashed unnecessarily.

I request the court to dismiss this case and honorably aquit Himesh Reshammiya of all charges brought against him. I also request that the court pass a landmark judgment that from here on, no one shall bash Himesh ji for the 'fun' of it, as it may hurt others' sentiments. Further discussion on Himesh ji should only be restricted to his music and singing, and not his arrogance or his dress sense or his facial hair.

The case has ended, but the judgment remains, and I am confident the judges will make the right one.

while I do not wish to enter into any arguments with you on any matter relating to this issue, I would like to clarify, not on behalf of prosecution.... but as a member of INDIA FORUMS - NO ONE BASHES HIMMESH.

It is a misconception that members here want to bash him for their time pass.

Please be assured that we are here to have FUN... adn fun we will have. We are here to discuss everything relating to the artiste, as long as it remains within good taste.

IF some tabloid wishes to publish an interview of HR or an article on HR, talking of his facial hair, his jeans, his cap, or his nasal twang, the members here will MOST DEFINITELY DISCUSS IT. They will most definitely offer their comments.

Mind you, this is being done for other artistes as well.

Some members here labour under the mistaken impression that we come here to bash HR alone. If you were to check back some old threads, there have been posts on Lataji, on OPN, on other artistes as well.

This is a public discussion forum, where everyone has come to discuss Television and entertainment.

Let us not use this thread for any other ulterior motive.

Barnali and Tanaz, you know why this post is being closed here. It is not for lack of intention, but for other reasons. Let us leave this issue here.

I agree with priyadi.. Let us all have fun in all the threads and not take something seriously.. I have been asked by many people as to how come being a HR fan i can go against him in prosecution side.. But the fact is that im not against HR..

I am a HR fan, and sorry to speak up, but I wanted to express my opinions.

When I first saw this topic, i was angry. When will they leave HR alone? Please pick on someone else. But then I saw that the topic was open for argument. I saw Jadoo ji and Shady and Kabhi stand up to help, as well as Skud.But now the prosecution is leaving and this has been turned into a fun thread? It;'s not fun for us, sorry.Judges, I want justice for HR, so that in future no one comes up with such a case, makes allegations against HR, and leaves without justifying it.
