Do you think Ismailji is biased - Page 2

well I'm actually going to have to have watched that episode to give my comments... but one thing I would like to point out... is that Ismail Darbar is a straight up person and says what he feels... and also if you look back at some of the saregamapa episodes when he was a mentor he said things to his own students.... and some of them weren't quite nice 😕

What are the judges or mentors called for, if they are not allowed to give their suggestions to the participants.

Constructive Critisism is defined as : criticism or advice that is useful and intended to help or improve something, often with an offer of possible solutions.

If there is any advice which will prove beneficial to the students and is only intended to help the participants in their future endevours in life, how will it make the person giving such advice biased

The participants surely cannot grudge the free advice they get from the Maestroes in the profession.

Sujay seems to think that BS fans will jump at anyone who criticizes BS - that is not the case. The only one we had a problem with was Abhijeet - no other celeb judge, not even Alka. There were people who came before Abhijeet, and there will be people who will come after Abhijeet - we will not call them all biased just for the heck of it.

But we won't hesitate to call a crook like Abhijeet a crook. And Sujay, please don't dilute the main issue here. Naming other judges and challenging BS fans will not take away from the reality of Abhijeet's behavior.

I'm not fond of the person either,but he was correct with his judgement,it was unanimous (Im ignoring Mr.Lewis here)

I don't agree that Abhijeet was fully accurate in his judgments, and not regarding BS, even those regarding UA. Did you really think UA were as good as Alkaji-Hariji in the first song? Or that Aishwarya was almost perfect in the 2nd song - 19 out of 20, as was said? Or that they deserved 14 stars for the last song, as Abhijeet wanted?

Not only was he overly dismissive and critical of BS, he was overly exxagerating the performance of UA - even a blind man could see that.

Forget his words - look at his actions. Forcing Leslie - a judge who has been on this show for 3 months - to give them 7 stars.

Compare him to Alka ji. She gave an accurate judgement, didn't she, but at least she was dignified, controlled, neutral, and spoke common sense.

"She gave an accurate judgement"- from your perspective, right? or do we somehow have an objective-meter?

generally we find something "accurate" and we like to use all those fine adjectives above if they fit our own views, right? when someone like a paresh rawaal who we like offers free-ka career tips in public to someone like rajeev, then it is honest-speak, no? never mind that it's the kind of remark which is really a put-down and a slap in public, which can do more harm than all the constructive criticism nonsense we came up with. that kind of talk does highlight someone's flaws for all to see, no?

someone can do it with a straight face, someone else with a loud manner such as abhijeet. but irrespective, very rarely does the public rebuke help.

Surely.

1. That's why he always supported the contestants of other gharana's during C2005.

2. That's why he never failed to appreciate any singer when they have performed well.

3. He always scolded the contestants of his own gharana instead of praising on National TV for singing badly.

4. He never praised his own contestants when they did not deserve.

If this is not biasness, then what is?
