i dont believe that ID was biased either. but citing examples of all his previous "unbiased" behavior does not make the point either, unless u're in court. in reality, someone could be unbiased in umpteen situations, but have a lot of biases in some other contexts. no?

also, someone can be neutral in most contexts, but are they necessarily neutral in all contexts?

again, in this context, i dont believe ID was biased. no motive. no reason i can think of for him to be biased. and his words also dont seem out of place for what we've come to expect from him at other times when he did not appear to show any bias.

way back in the 1992 elections, candidate Clinton was asked if he had ever smoked pot. after some fudging around, he said something along the following lines "well, i put it in my mouth but i did not inhale". hope that clairifies.😛

For any budding singer, any criticism positive or negative should be taken in a positive way, coz if he/she can correct these mistakes that was pointed out, only and only the budding singer can come up performing much better.

A good mentor or judge should be the one actually pointing out the weak points in a singer so that the singer can improve upon that weak point.

How does it matter who said what ?? What matters is how much these guys have learnt from those mistakes that was pointed out.

You said - it's true that "everything right from tossed coin to Judges to the Guests are biased". If Sujay wants to take an anticipatory bail for ID - will it be too baseless? 😆😆😆

In C2005, ISmailji was more tough on his own gharana participants than anybody else- he made them sing diverse songs, toughest ones at times while the others chose the easier and more popular numbers. he praised other gharana participants more, was always very generous with points to the other gharana participants when they performed well. Went out of the way to praise the other gharana contestants. Is this bias ??

He was critical, he was harsh towards Debu, Nihira - was it bacuase he wanted bad for them?? Hasn't Debu evolved as a better singer post C2005, from what he had started out. Is this being tough bias?? or mean?? who benifitted in the end - Debu/Nihira.

Haven't we seen our parents and teachers give us "that extra nudge" so that we score high points. Do we call it bias, because they correct us at times or even push us hard to perform???

Where is the bias ???

For Abhijeet - I haven't seen the episode yet - so can't comment. But last time he was a judge in SRGMP Childrens special - he was awesome - one of the finest judge of SRGMP - so it's hard to digest - again I need to watch it before passing any comments!

But one thing for sure - BS is going to benefit a lot from the controversy - as mob support always goes towards 'suppressed underdog' (except horse race though 😉)

I am not jumping my gun...I have just asked a simple question to all BS fans...Before going further I want to make it clear to everyone that I am a UA supporter. Anol, I have a special purpose to open this thread, the purpose is to build up an opinion in favor of ID so that after the telecast of thursday episode BS fans does not humiliate him by saying he was biased...
