Annu Kappor was the reason behind HUGE success of Antakshari. He was such a great host... full of excitement and energy that was unmatched by any of the "young female" anchors that the show had over the years. These "young females" came and went and Annuji stayed on. People used to watch the show because of Annu-ji. I think age does not matter as long as the person can bring in high level of energy and excitement to the show. Amitabh-ji, afterall, did not need a young female beside him to make CBC a huge success.

Yes, female anchor will add some glamor and glitter to the show (with the types of clothes that GS is asking them to wear these days!!!!) But there was no need to make such statement about Annu-ji . It is totally uncalled for. Or is it that our old pal Subhash K Jha is adding his own 'masala' in the article... something that he is so well known for.

wonderful news.Good to know that antakshari will be back.We all know abt anuuji's musical knowledge.He was a G8 anchor and I would love to see him soon.

ahhah .. i read an article statin twinkle hostin the show ... but that's odd.. coz we have such an experienced host with a new host.. sounds weird..

antakshri returning is ok but not at the expense of srgmp.but somehow i feel srgmp will continue to be there

btw why r they spoiling himani's career by making her host 😡 she should concentrate only on singing.bring twinkle in this thing.it is right up her line.her nakhraas will go very well here

yes but i cant think of himani as eye candy u know.twinkle would be a better description of eye candy

I donot think srgmp will be stopped, because this was the show that brought lots of money, glory and controversies to zee, and controversies always enhances the TRP ratings.

Moreover, Shaan is coming back as the host, probably not only for the great finale.

I really like annu Kapoor for his wide range of knowledge about film music. It is a good news that antakshari is starting again.

i hope ... twinkle's or himani's careers are not affected if they host the show

Yes, they may be affected, but only for the better. If established singers like Sonu/Shaan can host SRGMP, then why can't newcomers host a popular show like Antakshari? It made Annu Kapoor a household name - it will only help their careers.
