SRGMP Challenge Third round results - Page 8

My sincere congratulations to all the winners and heart felt regrets for the losers. Coolest one - you are cool and do not let anyone tell you otherwise. Ultimately, there will be only one winner, so the fun is in the journey and not the destination.

I have to raise 3 serious questions about additions at this time and I want everyone to be fair in their thinking (No biases):
1. Don't you feel it will be unfair to the people eliminated if we add someone now - they could say, well, they did not get to compete with this new person.
2. Don't you feel it is wrong to change the rules of the game in the middle of the game and add someone now.
3. If it is true that the mentors truly did not get to pick their contestants (I did'nt as I was out all that week - Bhaskar and Anol are witnesses) then would it fair play to adopt that practice now?

I understand that emotions are riding high and reasoning is out of the door but I feel I have to be fair to the existing survivors and raise these 3 questions in their defense. I urge all of you to think hard, and not with your heart, when you address this. I sure have. We have all had our fun moments here but this one is a serious one to evaluate and consider.

Remember, there will be another contest after this, as indicated by Bhaskar, so there will be a chance for more singers to participate.

To the folks in my Gharana: Congratualtions !! Keep up the good work. You have all made me proud !!

Well Sur, understand, yet, it was long ago decided that Appa was allowed to have a participant added to his gharana. Punjini, also went along with it as well...

I see no harm since 2 of Appa's strong participants were unable to particiapte...

Congrats to the winner but I am sad for coolest one and Umm ji. Umm ji was the best singer and I am sorry he left. Coolest one don't be sad. I am sure you will get a chance 😊

I know we are all reasonable people here and I urge you all to approach this with fairness and reason. There were plenty of lessons we all learnt from this contest and those can be carried upon to improve the next one and so on.

We have to be fair !! I stand by my convictions and only logic will disuade me.

Logically speaking, if we look at it from the point of the mentor, it isn't quite fair on Appaji that two of his contestants had to leave for personal reasons. He had all 4 last week, and has just one now. So if Deepak is eliminated next week, which could a

If you look at it from the point of the mentor Appaji, it makes sense. Last round he had all 4 contestants, and two of them had to leave for personal reasons, despite being on top. Now he is left with just one - Deepak. If Deepak too gets eliminated in the next round, which is possible, then Appaji is out of the show - even before the halfway point.

I think that's a bit harsh on him, him going out early because his contestants had some more important priorities come up. So in order to make up for that, they're giving him a wild-card entry, so it can make up a bit for the loss, and also keep him in the show a bit longer. Otherwise it's just you and Punjini ji for most of the show - which will get a little boring.

Anyways yea its not fair to Appa to just lose two potential winners just like this. He should at the least ahve one more contestant in this gharana because if Solid(aka bade) gets eliminated thats it for Yalgaar ho.
