Shaan was incredible and I pray and hope he comes back. I believe that the host should be a singer not an actor. However, Rohit Roy has taken on a huge task by following Shaan and I feel he is doing a great job.
In such a short time he is very warm and friendly. I think it is difficult for anyone to follow in Shaan's footsteps.
I suppose in today's SMS times it's not necessary for a host to be a singer. Shaan is currently the only singer hosting a show. Others like Aman, Mini, Mandira, Ishita are not related to singing at all.
Yes, it would be good if a musical show is hosted by a singer, but it's not a requirement. If not Shaan, then I prefer Rohit Roy to any other singer like Babul Supriyo or Abhijit or Udit Narayan hosting the show 😕.

Your right , an actor with a good personality is better than a singer with no personality.
There are few singers like SHaan who have grace and personality. I hope he comes back.
