I have noticed that when I am trying to post replies the message comes in two formats, one in which the messages are easier to format and the other where you are required to add in the text in a particular box, also in the later format it is not possible to post articles or pictures.

Why is that ? Am I doing something wrong...?

Hi Rajarani,

Yes, one is simple text editor and other one is WYSIWYG (What you see is what you get) editor. I prefer WYSIWYG editor.... 😊

Thanks.
I prefer the WYSIWYG too, but sometimes it does not come. Can I somehow change the settings so that I just get the WYSIWYG while posting replies?

Basically if you post in the empty Post Reply box at the bottom of the page, that is set to Text Editor, where you have to add text in a box.

And if you quote and reply to a message, that is set to WYSIWYG, which is the simple format - just click.

In any case, you can use the forum codes in either case.

What you can is quote someone's message.. and remove all the quoted material, and post as a fresh post - that will still be set to WYSIWYG.

That would be better than using the reply box below which doesn't have WYSIWYG

Wow terrific, thanks a ton. Now I can post replies comfortably.

I wonder why they even have the text editor in the first place, who would want to use it....😉
