May be the singer was REALLYY singing besura - just because the crowd claps doesn't mean the singing is in sur - we get ample evidence from the EMET shows don't we?

Very well said Raja - the media today has mastered the art of creating controversies.. And am sure the story going on in the channels is the manipulated version of something that would have happened..

here is a singer who needs to prove a point in front of Ma saraswati herself.. atleast he/she know what pleases her! And yes if there is tooo much noise, she has every right to close her ears!

Even non-musical people like us are bored and cant take the jazzing noise around, can imagine how difficult it will be for her

Come off it, people are telling you that she is closing her ears against noise so stop going on and on about arrogance. She is not being arrogant here, she is protecting her ears.

At the engagement party of my friend in Delhi recently, I had to close my ears in the same way when the noise went up to unimaginable levels. I am sure that if the decibel level had been measured by a meter, it should have shown some dangerous level. I couldn't even listen to the singer, all I could hear was the dum-dum-bang-bang of deafening instruments.

I wonder if the teeny bopper generation possesses what is called an ear-drum, that delicate membrane which vibrates to sound.

I is totally justified by me.

I was the witness of the show.

See, ur grandparents also plug their ears if U louden the TV volume.. and this was the live concert with live walls of music.

Lata didi is 75 yrs old lady. If she feels the music irritating.. why should not she react???

We also unplug our ears if we listen something of XXXX volts!

So I dont feel something bad about it, or I dont feel that she was arrogant at that time.

Haan - different kind of sound pollution - you know 😛 - kabhi Amplitude / Volume pollution, kabhi Besura pollution, kabhi 'rocking' pollution, toh kabhi nasal pollution!
