Greetings friends,

This is an old recording in early 2005 of me playing Ragamala of many ragas with Raga Misra Pilu as my base.

Trick question is you would have to guess what instrument this is. 😉

The tabla is looped. This was one of my first recordings with multitrack and I never saved the tracks, so I can't do anything.

It's a long track, nearly 11 minutes, but hope yall like it.

Thanks for sharing. It is mainly Guitar and something (Sitar ?) combo from what I figure 😕 . Something sounds like slide guitar. Just my guess. I am not an expert. It sounds great. 👏

Agreed - I think this one is the special instrument you made - right?
Guiter + Sitar?

GREAT 👏

Hello friends!

I'm glad you all enjoyed it! Anol-da was correct. It was the guitar-sitar combination. It's not in optimal use, (meaning that the curved frets, longer fingerboard, more chikaris, and tarabs were not included.

The ragas in the ragamala were (not in any particular order)

Raga Misra Pilu
Raga Khamaj
Raga Des
Raga Yaman
Raga Puriya Dhanasri
Raga Marwa
Raga Lalita
Raga Bhairava
Raga Ahir Bhairava
Raga Jog/Tilang
Raga Misra Kafi
Raga Darbari Kanhada
Raga Bhairavi
Raga Misra Pilu as final raga.
