Well I really don't agree here.

1. Extending the deadline will not help me at all. My contestants are gone.

2. You have suggested that "If two more contestants can be found, they can go to Appaji's gharana". But the contestants will have to match the potential of the contestants that I have lost. Or else why should I settle for anyone else. If the next interested person comes to my gharana, does that rectify the imbalance and the loss of singers like UMMM and Sunitha. NO.

So, why don't you and Sunil ji take each my contestants in your gharanas and cut me loose.

I will be the judge or may be the neutral mentor supporting both the gharana's.

Ok guys – As you know there are some unfortunate incident happened to two very talented singers. Now we need to take some decisions to move on.

On the other hand both Bhaskar and Barnalidi is out of station.

Can I suggest holding the decision till Barnalidi comes back on 25^th?

Mean time – mentors, please PM me your suggestions on how to solve this 'Catch 22' situation. 😉

I lost Sweety in round one due to a bad soar throat - we all know that. I took it on the chin - never made any fuss about it. There was one time when all my four gharana people had severe soar throats(Aaayi Shapath) and I played Munna Bhai rather than make a posting of plea !!

I was out on a business trip when the distribution of contestants took place - I welcomed everyone who came to my Gharana and never complained.

I am truly sorry to read Appa's posting but I am too strict and disciplined too. The only give here is time and that too not infinitely - there is no other give in this contest. I hope things get better because I am all for a healthy competition but as we all know the show must go on. I am too tough a negotiator and will not settle for anything else - I have been called Khadoos before but that goes with the teritory.... 😉

Bottomline, my sincere regrets but I have been there too - the Show goes on and may the best win !! I hope all of us Mentors remain friends even after the contest - afterall it was just a game !! I pray for Sunitha's Dad's speedy recovery ....

Sur bhai (Khadoos😡😆), I am not complaining here. I am just letting you all know that I will not have any female contestants from this week. I am not trying to undermine anyone here, but one doesn't have to be a musical genius to understand that ummm was truely the Nihira of this contest and Sunitha was also one of the top contestants. So, I also need to think about how to take this loss. So the bottomline is I am not complaining, neither did I ask anyone for their contestants.

Thanks for all your co-operation, and its dripping everywhere in this thread, and I surely appreciate it.😉

Pari, Yes HR made it to the top 2 with just one participant in his gharana but he developed a permanent scowl on his face 😆.

I think a good sport is one who plays despite whatever handicaps he has. In good weather, bad weather, with or without key persons in the team, in front of a supporting crowd or a hostile crowd; he takes it all in his stride keeping the larger picture in mind.

If I were in a situation where my best contestant leaves, I would explain the situation to all and wait for the mods to suggest a solution, and abide by what they suggest. Anyway, each to his own.

My suggestion to the mentors and the IF team is that the show must go on ..... I look forward to a healthy competition ...
