24X7 Now thats what Music should be

Hello friends,

This may be a stale stuff for some but i considered it worth sharing with you friends...especially when you are with your laptop with good network connectivity but unfortunately no music cd's with you..and yearning for some music to soothe your mind and soul...

You can call this a serendipity but as all serendipities are something accidental bringing good stuffs,same holds true for this...

So here you go all music lovers who some how curse themselves for not carrying current/old Bollywood music cd's when they leave for a office/school trip and find great wireless connectivity at the inn you have put up.

step 1: Download the fanciest version of Winamp till it is free..😆😆
step 2: Install it in your laptop/desktop
step 3: Clik on the online services on the left pane of Winamp.This will
open the window on the right side of the pane and you will see a
couple of options ,one of which is Shoutcast Internet Radio.
step 4: check the check-box(usually remains unchecked)
step 5: double clik on shoutcast radio.You will see a genre search screen
appearing on the right pane.In the genre search type 'bol' and hit
search.You will see a hell lot of Hindi music stations comprising
New Hits,Remixes,Oldies,Kishore Kumar songs,Punjabi Bhangra
etc..



Then you are just a clik away from a 24X7 music service..and you can even request for your favourite songs in a couple of radio stations. So before you get lost in your favourite music, post a line here please to make me feel having done something for our IF family apart from playing with Himesh ji's cap....😃

i think that might b a good idea...u'll probably attract more people that way...they'r probably running away at the moment coz they think it's a discussion on a dreadful song (no offence to people who actually like that song 😕)

I know that way i will reach more people...somehow i take pleasure in what i do and love the way i express myself despite it not reaching the masses...besides my ps in the first post took care of the soliciting part..
I am not promoting or demoting anything...just shared something which i found good...

Adi do you think i am the marketing personnel of some bandwidth selling agency????in that case i would have made more propaganda about this forum as this is really addictive....

No deep, I don't think any such thing..Infact I appreciate it..

But your suggestion of "free music on the web"

might have got classified as " soliciting"..and we'd have pandu hawaldar on your back in no time..😉
