Other than aging any ENT infection, smoking or excessive yelling, like at a ball games can causes these two parts to swell as well leading to a temporary thickening or loss of the voice.

Thank you!!😛

Thanks.. I love scientific explanations

So in order to compensate for that loss of voice vibration, people sing through their nose?

Nice try but no carrot!

Bunbutt.....I have a few lop eared rabbits among other animals in my family. Have you ever looked at a little bunny's behind with the big butt and the bushy tail in the center....not the Playboy Bunnies...they are great too.... but I lean more towards the real ones that have four big feet and eat greens and carrots.

That sight and Bugs Bunny chewing on carrots and going after Elmer Fudd's bald head are the classic icons I grew up and identify with. Therefore the name. 🤡

I always had this question on my mind. However, I am not tallking about 100% nasal like HR (no offense to any HR fans), but if a typical good singer is a little nasal here and there in his/her singing, why is it considered to be inferior even though he is singing in sur, expression, taal, etc?

Can u bear hearing someone nasal for a long time?
