It is sad to see Mr. Hari Haran going out of the way to put Rajeev down. He is doing every thing to discourage him. He can not conceal his dislike for Rajeev, as it shows on his face. Looks like you are a die hard rajeev fan. (Since you say PH go off note many times. That also tells me what you would consider as a "note" )
Anyhow, What shows on Hariji's face is that the public is insulting his knowledge. Harijii is a learned person. So when he finds mistakes he will correct them by pointing those out. But still SR turn out to be jodi no. 1 which is too baffling for him.

You should keep in mind that Hariji is being paid to *judge* the singing, and not the money spent by public on SMS's.

You are wrong on both accounts. HH has excellent voice quality. People have loved him since 'gaman'. HH did not seek the kind of popularity that Udit Narayan and Sonu Nigam have but he is the best in his field. It would be Decades before Rajiv will record a "Kaash" or a "Colonial Cousins." or even a 'tu hi re' or a 'Hai Rama' - if ever.

Rajeev dont know singing (except high note and punjabi type songs)

rajeev also sings romantic songs well.remember ek ajnabi haseena se,waada raha,saathiya beliyaa all frm c-2005

if u think logically u will realize tht hariharan has no personal motive in bringing rajiv down

rajiv is just a struggling singer and hariharan is a well acclaimed person who has already carved a niche for him in bollywood

he is 100 times more musically knowledgeable and well versed than u and me can ever be.

and i dont see any reason for a person of such high standards to go out of his way for a struggling singer
he is a judge and has every right to express his opinions
all of SR recent performances have been of low standards.

hence it is the responsibility of a responsible judge like hariharan to make the public realize its mistake 😛

I agree that hariharan knows about music but you say he has no motive to put rajeev down and that might be true. But you have to realize he is also human and in my opinion i think he is upset because he does not consider rajeev and sanchali to be as good as some other contestants and when they get voted as 1 he might be hurt as the public are not following his number of stars given and then voting and so he wants to put them down. I really dislike how he keeps putting the public down for voting for them, he should not forget that is is the public at the end who goes out to buy the cds of the singers!

Hariharan is a normal human being who knows a lot about music.
The contestants perform weekly and he judges them.
Logically, there will not be any motive for him to be so harsh towards Rajeev.
His job, is to judge. If he criticizes anyone, it is coz their performance was sub- standard.
Now, Rajeev and Sanchali are two normal human beings who are supposed to sing, and who have been topping the vote bank for the past few weeks. Thus, obviously, they should be one of the better performers.

However, their recent performances were lousy.So Hariharan criticizes them simply because it his duty as a judge and as a perosn who knows more about music to educate them. And also because he expects a lot better from the vote- toppers.

I don't think that they are brilliant judges, but at the same time I have to agree that P& R and Southern spice and mile ahaed of Rajeev. He is doing well because of sanchali. and personaly I dont think that he shoudl ahve come back after he was kicked out 2wice in challange 2005. EMAT needed new talen, seeing old faces is not what Sa re ga ma pa has been about, its turning more and more into indian idol or antaksahri!
