But it was not to be..' I think lots of music lovers will agree to this one. So there were other male singers in the competition who were better than Vinit... And for Nihira, she was way above all the other singers combined together..

Jayc, Perfect.....

You have said it perfectly. Sharib, Deboojit, Hema and Abhijeet and Vishwaas were the one who really deserved to be in the top 12 including 6 girls and then it should been Niladri v/s vinit where vinit should have beaten Niladri or Niladri should have beaten vinit....

Well we have Vishwas here agian playing spoil sport again ... so I am not really suprised here. If there was one person to make a fuss about the voting system again it had to be vishwas. Vishwas always seems to have an opioon about anything. If he keeps blabbering away like this the only direction his votes are going to go is down.

Why can't people just get over this voting thingy ... who cares who gets the highest votes? As long as you are singing well and doing your best its all good.

Great HR believe in him. Who care others (bashers) dont belive in him. God willing he will leave every one (C2005 contestants) far behind.

Please keep your posts contextual. Why Vinit and Debu is dragged into this conversation?

Please restrain yourself from personal attacks against participants and forum members. If this continues then we'll have to take action against all the members who post any such remarks.

My request to all those who are reacting to those comments is just ignore the members who are making these comments. It is their opinion and let it remain so. No need to change yours and also of theirs.

So just keep your cool and ignore such members whose only motive here is to create bad atmosphere. And when you all react to such posts you are actually helping him/her.

Just chill. Okie!

I think Vishwas and Twinkle make a good pair cos both of them are arrogant and thinks very highly of themselves. Tbey always feel they are better than the others and should be voted tops.

Voice quality wise I would say that Rajeev and Sanchali are just as good or equal to them and if they are getting the highest votes what are the others griping about.

totally agreed. but what to do, there is a mark sheet mentality. unless it all goes according to that mark sheet, criticism "rulzzz" the roost. no matter that all these contestants are so much better off with the public noticing them in any measure, large or small. in other contexts, one has to pay to get face-time before the public, and here we cant help criticizing all the time.

I think all the contestants have to accept once for all that people will vote only to those that they want to vote -- whether the contestants that they are voting are the best or not.

Look at it this way -- I am spending my Rs 6.00 (or whatever). So I will decide where I want to put my money. If my brother/sister, relative, friend, person of my region, person of my liking is a contestant, and I believe that he/she is very good (may not the best), I will vote him/her no matter what. And I do not want the judges, Gajji or anyone else tell me whom to vote and who is the best. Hell, I am spending my money and I will support my candidate. And even if voting was made free, I will still stick to my decision.

If there was a world beauty contest and there was public voting, would we not vote to a lady from India, if we believe she is equally good, though not the best? Same thing is true here. The ones who can garner better public support (for whatever reason) and do fairly well will get votes. They may not necessarily be the best. The contestants have to understand this and accept this as a fact or else not compete in shows of this nature at all.

If they want they can participate in other national level competitions (judged by the expert panel) that are not televised. Their talent will get the due credit there but no one will see them and they will away from all the glamour (fancy stages, fancy clothes, meeting with celebrities etc.). You cannot have best of both the worlds in today's commercial age.

I agree with you totaly ... people do need to learn how to accept the results from the public. I mean lets just say TV hadn't sung well but they ended up with the highest votes, would they still say the same thing they did then? No, ofcource not they would happilty accept the result and say its the publics decission. When the public's decission goes against you then you get irritated and annoyed with it. Just like saw in c2005 and now here in EMAET.
