2 judges=> 2 opinions. 10 judges=> 10 opinions. even when they agree on 1 winner, it is often the least common denominator principle at work. mostly they will just end up selecting someone who they can all tolerate, rather than with someone that most find the best and a few find average.
given that, not difficult to see why these groovy judges, or any panel of judges for that matter, will make a lot of viewers very unhappy.
