Aaah!!!. Now I got what the actual word was. When I saw the tamil word in English, I though it was "Oonoadu", now I realized it was "Unnoadu". Oh boy, what difference did that make? hehe, I should have listened to the song before getting ready to translate like a tamizh pulavi.😉

I would be grateful, if somone could translate the lyrics of 'Padarien Padippariyen' from Sindhu Bhairavi. The lyrics are available in Raaga http://www.raaga.com/channels/tamil/lyrics/236.html

I know the essence of the song, but still, an elaborate translation would be highly appreciated. Thanks!

Thanks, thanks, thanks so much Srianne. I love all the songs in Sindhu Bhairavi and this one in particular. Chitra has sung it so beautifully and Suhasini has enacted it so well.
Thanks again, you made my day!

A little tidbit about this song and KS.Chitra if you don't know already.
Chitra wasn't very popular when Sindhu Bhairavi was made, she sang only couple of songs in movies until then. When IR sir asked her to sing for this movie, initially she hesitated because she had her M.A final exams on the day she was supposed to record for this song "Paadariye padippariye". But, IR sir insisted she sang this song promising her that this song will change her life forever and that music has more in store for her than academics. She hesitantly agreed and recorded this song. As IR said, she got her first NATIONAL AWARD for this song and never looked back in her career after that.

Thanks a lot for the info, Srianne...indeed this song changed her life. I always thought Chitra got her first national award for the Malayalam movie 'Nakhakshathangal'. But you are right...she got her first one for "Sindhu Bhairavi' in 1986 and 'Nakhakshathanogal' was in 1987...Two national awards Back to back in early days of her career and 4 more followed!

She is a great singer and a wonderful person! 👏👏
