Bura Na Mano Holi Hai

So how do you plan to celebrate Holi tomorrow?

I am in Nai Dilli (Bharat Ki Rajdhani), Indra dev ki kripa se weather has been superb since last week, we have had quite a bit of rain since then. It again rained today. Even right now it is cloudy and forcast says rains for next two days. Agar kal baarish aayi mazaa aa jaayega, it will probably be first holi which will have people playing holi wearing jackets/sweaters...hehe, it is cold. 😛 Ekdam jhakas mausam hai, bole to SOLID. If you have GF/BF to kya kehne. 😉

I think I haven't played Holi (with pichkari/gubbare) since 1996 (when I did my 10+2)....but I remember how crazy we (my bro/sis/friend) were about Holi, hum log sare balloons ko paani bharkar fula lete they, raat ko ki aur phir unhe paani main rakh dete they taaki kahin woh phat naa jaayen. Phir chhat se logon pe/cyclists/2wheelers/anyone else, jo koi bhi nazar aata tha use balloon maarte they aur phir chhup jate they....😆

And by noon our faces bilkul bhoot ki tarah dikhte they, aisi Holi khelte they hum.

So, anyone else would like to share his/her childhood Holi memories? 😛

kaash main rajdhani mein hoti...this is the festival I miss the most...solidsnake tumhari baat padh ke tou mujhe mera bachpan yaad aa gaya..this time U.S. mein bhee holi jaisa weather hai..usually thand hoti hai.

We(All friends) used to mimic shamshad begum...hOLI AAI RE KANHAAEE RANG CHALKE SUNA DE ZARA....BALOON NOISE

Ghar aaja pardesi tujhko des bulaye hai...

Ours was a corner house. We used to have courtyard inside. My bro (elder) used to hide beside the wall (on a raised platform inside the courtyard and check if anyone's passing by)giving me directions. and I used be ready with a pichkari in the courtyard pointed up in a manner it goes over the wall to the road :-)). oh what perfect directions he used to privide - something like , 30 degrees north, thora aur left aaaaaaaaaand NOW - and in seconds the passerby is drenched with colour 😆. Bro used to say 'o u should have seen this million dollar surprised face wondering where did it come from' Well, I could never see the faces cos bro was always the Director :-((. I wanted to play the same trick with my lil sis but she was extremely affraid of colors.....
But I enjoyed holi....hmmm....such good memories

I'm nowdays in my hometown near DELHI.
Yaar mausum ne toh poore mahoul ki waat laga rakhii hai.
Aaj Rang ki Holi waaley din zaroor kuch Dhoop ke darshan hue.
Yaar mujhe toh bade ho jaane kaa sabsebada nuksaan yahi lagtaa hai kii khul ke HOLI nahin manaa sakte.
Apni colony mein toh sabne tub bhar ke col.rakhe hue hain,jo bhi bahar se aata hai uskaa toh Ganga snan ho jataa hai.
Face par silverpaint pot kar Holi khelne kaa mazaa kuch aur hii hai
Par ,have u noticed kabhi kabhi hum holi thodi der khelte hain ,rang chutaane mein zyaada time lag jaata hai.Aur agar aise mein paani chala jaye toh?????Tauba tauba
