The mystery of what makes a hit has puzzled song writers and composers always.
The next hit song is something like love — unpredictable.😉
I think People will select a song if they think others like it. The hype that surrounds a song is a key to its success alsoPlaying it over and over makes the chances of being popular higher. Marketers have been accused of bribing disc jockeys to give their records more air time.
Take example of my site where i uploaded some very good songs from SrGM. I found that people were downloading songs that had already been downloaded a few times and very few were looking at the other songs.
I quote from an article below
"Popular songs became more popular and unpopular songs became less popular when individuals influenced one another, and it became more difficult to predict which songs were to emerge as the most popular ones the more the individuals influenced one another...."
I dont know if there is interest in this forum to discuss this but thought I would throw my observation out there...
Thanks for reading!
It can compare the attributes of a new song to historic profiles to determine whether the new song has high potential to be a hit. It all depends on your Last year contribution to the demand of creativity, for example, they predicted for the success is in the Musician like Rahman and Lyricist Gulzar Ji
But creativity has never existed in a vacuum. In the music industry, commercial artists and their producers have been bringing their judgment and experience to bear in shaping new hit music. My thoughts are in a very simple example of Roobaroo by Naresh. The innovation that is Hit Song It also depends on human judgment of modern creativity and that what calculate the commercial success of Musician and the singer.
