yeh bhi koi likhney ki baat hai............obviously hemu is beta than vinit..............i totally agree wid ya 👏 ........but i think u shouldn't have started dis topic bcoz vinit fans won't leave ya n it'll take them ages 2 digest da fact dat hemu iz beta than vinit........but anyway on da other hand da people who r vinit fans will obviously say vinit is da best bcoz dey love him. So plz now dun write anything bad abt vinit. 😊

You are correct, Debo fans will Debo is the best of 3. So it is useless to compare.

I think this topic is never ending. I guess people feel differently about voices and music based on what exposure they have had. Definitely people with classical bent of mind and training may like singers inthat genre. But some like rock performance. But again the older you get, your taste definitely changes .So it is hard to compare. Just hope that every deserving contestant will get his/her chance to prove their talent.
Again what public likes is beyond us. I personally did not like HR's Ashiq song. It is so nasal and he claims it as Sufi, but I have heard so many Sufi songs and they are so melodious. But then again he won the film fare award. What can you say??

What makes a singer "good or better" that we say xxx is better than yyy?
Is it how his voice would sound on screen for a hero, is it his voice quality, is it his control over sur?
This is very subjective and open to interpretation so lets just say that everyone is entitled to his/her opinion and not try to bash the supporters of other contestants like has been happening on other threads lately (yes, and lately, I've been guilty of that too 😔
For me its a matter of sur (with a pinch of voice quality thrown in) more than anything else. Others might feel that versatility is more important and I respect their opinion.
Like ummm ji mentioned above, Abhijeet was a great singer (arguably, the best control on sur) but, because of soft voice that he had, was limited to a particular genre of songs. The "har har mahadev" bandish (its up on coolgoose) that Abhijeet sang in one of the previous schedules, I doubt if anyone (except maybe Sharib) could have come close but then could Abhijeet have sung "ik haseena thi" or "tera jadoo chal gaya" the same as Debu/Vinit - most definitely not.
So, "who's better than who" thats a real tough question and not something that I am qualified enough to answer...

ya.i agree.i appreciate voice quality and classical music very much.So my opinion is dat Hemu is ofcourse far far far far better than vineet.Vineet is no where near him.datz it.thankyou.

Guys, lets not compare who is better. Hema is a good singer and one of the highlights of SRGMP but Vinit was no less. Some of his songs moved me immensely..

To say who is better, I dont think we are the best judges.
