Hemu is far far better than Vinit

In saragamapa what we really missed is Hem chandra . People were saying debojit was there because of regionalism. But vinit was also there because of regionalism otherwise Hemu would have been in Final.

Agreed instantly... Hemu is/was/forever will be better than vinit... it'll take vinit decades to reach half the voice quality of Hemachandra....

There cannot be two questions about it....

Vinit went up in SRGMP2005 purely because of the antics and politics played by Himmesh Reshmiya...

Anyday, you have Hema, Sharib, Nihira, Himani and Vinit to sing before learned judges like ShivKumarSharma or HariPrasadChaurasya....a classical song, a film song and a folk song...then the result will be like this

Hema - 1

Nihira and Himani - 2

Sharib - 3

Vinit - 4

I am ready to bet on it...

chamali, yes, these days the word is everywhere you will overhear people saying Debo ko jitaya gaya... by mammoth votes from his own region. But I can see only you are saying "Vinit is also there because of regionalism," which is not true, meri jaan. Vinit got substantial votes from all over, not to mention consistently better marks from both mentors and guest judges than any other contestants.

Hema is one of the best singers and has a good and a more matured voice than Vinit. But Vinit maintains his sur better and is always able to create an energy in his songs which makes his songs closely comparable to the original one. In my opinion, Vinit definitely sang much better than Hema in SRGMP 2005... Vinit is just dynamite, as Pooja Bhatt puts it. When his voice matures a little more after puberty, nobody can stop our short Vinit, and then even your Hema's long legs will not help to reach half the pace of Vinit...sorry, no pun intended.

i think we have had enough of debates for the last many months regarding who is better
FOR HEMA FANS-HEMA IS THE BEST

this is a fact and we have to live wit it
u maybe a hema fan and therefore u think he is better than vinit but there r loads of vinit fans across the globe who wouldnt agree wit u at all

hema was definitely good but not better than vinit[personal choice]
both were the very best for their respective fans....

i think they both are equally good, and both of them are the real winners. it would have been amazing if both of them were in the final.

I found Abhijeet Ghoshal to be better than both Hema and Vineet. If he hadn't had that rough phase in singing initially on in the show, he would definitely have made it big. The reason I am comparing him to only these two singers and not Debu is because he (Abhijeet) was excellent at singing the kind of songs these two have sung, but I'm not sure how he would be at singing songs like Humma Humma or Ek Chatur Naar (both sung by Debu).
