justice is served! The real test begins n

Vinit did not deserve to win! The 3 of them (Hema, Himani & Vinit) should have been disqualified after their walk-out. These people need to learn to be graceful, even in a loss... learn from Nihira... she did not deserve to be voted out that soon... but took it gracefully and won everyone's hearts... humbleness is a must to succeed in life! arrogance (especially like HR's takes you nowhere)!

The criteria was public voting... hence, none of them should complain... if Debo's fans are so fanatic and passionate about him, kudos to them and him. All of the top 12 are good singers. If singing ability was the criteria (as it should have been via an expert judging panel), then definitely Hemu and Nihira would have had a showdown today. Both Debo and Vinit were NOT the best singers out of the 12!

It would be interesting to see how these contestants fare in the future. Both Nihira and Hemu are going to be stars. Any song they touch, they make it their own... superb sur/tonal-quality and versatility. Vinit was largely singing Sonu's and Rafi-saab's songs... he needs to develop a style and voice of his own... otherwise, it will be a quick burnout for him after the initial-set of songs from HR... no way he's going to dislodge Sonu... Sonu is simply at a different level than him. Himani too faces a huge challenge... unless she develops her own style, and works on her sur and openness of voice, she too will be a distant memory... there are just too many singers of her genre (Sunidhi, Richa et al)... the most pressure will be on Debo... and it will be his versatality that should help him bag songs of differing styles!

There's a reason why singers like Sonu, Shaan, Shreya, Kunal, KK etc. have been successful... all of them have their own individual style... the softness and perfect melody of Sonu; the vibrance and depth of Shaan; the divine sweetness of Shreya; the outstanding punch of Kunal etc etc...

So. Congrats to Debo and all the 12... the real journey begins NOW! Best of luck!
