SRGMP has done the following for me:

1. Introduced me to a great voice of Nihira and a better person behind the voice. If only you could meet her you would know what I mean. I treasure her voice, her personality and her big heart. She is a great human being - I am glad I backed her up.

2. Made Debu and me close friends - something I will relish life long. What a guy !!

3. Told me what a guy HR is - cannot say more here or the mods will tapkao me....

4. Left me good memories of some very good music thx to Nihira, Hema, Debu and Sharib......

I am honored by the friends I made on this Forum and my fav. challengers - they are my biggest assets - what more can a guy ask for ......

Above all, it proved to me: Where there is a will, there is a way .... 😉

Well SRGMP has attatched every one emotionally but one thing I will take away from this show when its over is that I will know that now one can be as screwed up like HR.

Sa re ga ma started on a good note - to bring to the world the talented singers of India. And I think to an extent it was successful , because of this show we were able to listen to the new great voices of Hemachandra, Nihira, Himani, Vinit,Debojit etc.
But towards the end of the show I dont think ne one can argue that singing was not made the top priority.
With regional voting and hyping I think that the mentors forgot to acknowledge the contestants for their voices and concentrated more on selling them to the public. This show took contestants and fans on a long emotional journey.
I can say that I am looking forward to saregama 2006 beacuse I look forward to hera new original voices, however I hope that saregama 2006 is a singing contest rather than a soap opera.
