lets be more rationale Shubha, I think tis discussion goes beyond SRGM.
IMHO the exposure which Debo/Hema have got is enough and that was important. I wish Sharib had the same exposure....wo bahut jaldi bahar nikal gaya.
I don't mind if handpump wins, may be it would be better for Debo.

Sinhaji, BTW, in the song from Shreya, Sunidhi and Kunal episode, I don't remember the song, but Debo did sound like Amit Kumar. (ID was close enough, in comparing him with KK 😉 )

agree, ID has a very superior musical sense, it would have been better if he had decided not to participate in SRGM, no one come out of keechad without getting some stuck on him.... 😉

IMHO one composer pair who should have stayed in these testing times is Jatin-Lalit. I was listening to Hum-Tum(Alka & Babul Supriyo) and I was left amazed at the quality of rhythm JL have been able to generate for this song, perhaps it has many percussion instruments like tabla, matka, bass guitar( after all they are chela of RD Burman..... 😉 ) and few more instruments.
I wish they had stayed.....MP...

BTW only JL and ID have been true mentors 😊 Sometimes wonder, whether HR has a degree in marketing, he is damned good yaar. And also politics, he changes his stances quite suddenly and without any remorse 🤢

I agree Lalit Pandit was uncouth in some remakrs but I cant deny the growth of chelas under them. They have exceptional musical sense, their separation is a huge loss to music.
