Debojit has worked wonders for NE

Dear friends,

I am not here to discuss who sings better. I personally like Debo and am voting for him through my contacts in India.

The reason why i opened this topic is to show you the results of a poll held in Silchar. For the uninformed, this poll wont make any sense, but for someone who has stayed there, it makes sense. Assamese and Bengali people have always been at enimity with each other and this rivalry has been the cause of many ethnic riots in Assam and other parts of NE. The unique bonding that can be seen now in the streets of Assam and many other cities in NE is really wonderful and an event worth celebrating.
Yesterday, Debojit had gone to Guwahati to do some shootings for Zee (which will most likely be aired by Zee next week). People from all walks of life, from ministers to doctors, engineers, businessmen and students, flocked to the Guwhati airport to receive him. The number of people at the airport was close to around 2 lakhs. This is a phenomenon....Debojit wins or loses in SRGMP..he has definitely won a battle that has been raging for so many decades in NE. I consider it as my duty and privilege to vote for such a person.
