well folks, let stop blaming anuraag ji.. I was the one who brought this topic... so let me say it was a great healthy discussion he really brought lot of people out of their comfort zone...

I completely buy your views on music. Though you made some serious slippages regarding nihira and himani and debo's dicton but overall trust you 100 % and reading through all your psots, you come to me as a genuine student of music and all your posts and analysis were best of of whatever has been written in this forum.. I really loved when you said Himani' Voice has "Pain". Nobody has ever metnioned that. Nihira doesn't sing with lot of passions/emotions but she had such a great voice that she doesn't need to do that. It is god gifted.I also buy when you rate HEMA above DEBO/VINIT.. But when it comes to DEBO and VINIT..i will put them in same place rather puting one of them top of each other....as both have their share of lacunas and it is the time which will prove who was better....both have different kind of potential...but as again, now a days the thing which works is different and distinctive voice quality , rest all can be managed by gizmos....

I think there you actually faltered. Must be your management consultant personality came into picture.. I strongly feel that.

1. You shouldn't have started another thread with the same name..IF i say you as a disciple of Pt.Bhimsen Joshi, it is ok, but we as an individual doesnt like somebody flattering about himself. IF YOU HAVE IT FLAUNT IT, doesn't work in INDIA. OR it may work, as the we are progressing and aping west , but not now.

2. You putting your website has not gone down well with the readers , you could have put it later.. may be in your 5th or 6th post...


overall , all your posts were really insightful..please bring in many more.. Though you got a lot of publicity but that is worth it...

I belive in some people here and can easily follow blondly, but I still have doubt that whoever is he, he is not real Anurag ji.

this himani Vs. nihira comparison has been a very controversial one from the beginning i guess. i have never been able to rank them, seriously. i believe that both are extremely talented. but their voices are entirely different from each other and hence the kind of songs that they can excel at are different....

as far as sweetness of voice is concerned, nihira's voice is so soothing to the ears. and himani's voice has very good expression which nihira's is not so good at.

just my opinion. no offences to anyone.

exactly my opinion. I think nihira and himani should have been declared joint winners of the show. The boys are nowhere near them.

No body can force you...Of course maturity is reflected by your posts and you cannot accept the verdict given by someone if that verdict went against your thoughts...let me tell you one thing who are you to judge others analytical skills...If you know you are right then why to doubt on your decision and ask for some one...
