Why SGMP contestants sound better than II

Simple...these guys have been performing on the stage for the last 7 months..being polished by the big names of the industry...so they are in a professional league now..II contestants are amateurs who have just started out and were picked coz they showed potential

Another thing II right from the outset maintain that they are looking for performers who can sing...this was not the case with SGMP where the auditions were pretty stringent...it was only when GAJenndra Singh started changing the format to suit his whims that the show became a regular naach gaana show with some nautanki thrown in ( courtesy u know who)

So lets not compare the apples with the oranges...tho' the oranges have rotted now over the past 7 months😃

The selection process of SRGMP is far more intense . So at the end of the selection process , only the best remains . All the riff raffs are eliminated . That is not the case with II2 .

Except for Amey Date and Karunya, everyone else is fundamentally horrible on Indian Idol.

2 different concepts ......

SRGMP believes in singers only. They don't care how lousy their mentality is and how pathetic their gharana is, as long as they are technically good ... it works for them.

II-2 is a total package - you have to sing well, perform well, and be a nice human being inside.

SRGMP believes in dividing the nation. II-2 brings the nation together.

SRGMP believes in fooling the audience. II-2 believes in providing insight to audience.

SRGMP promotes a rigged show (voting accepted until Wednesday while shooting takes place Monday before!!). II-2 promotes an honest show.

So you're right .. it's definitely rotten apples vs. Florida oranges.

At this point I don't even care if these people sing well or not. If they are not good human beings I don't want to waste my time watching or listening to them.

MD's can have these "filthy inside suriley outside" contestants and put them in recording room and have them sing. But, I - as an audience - only want an honest man to win and take the money. It is not a musical contest anymore. The only person who deserves the award money is a honest singer whether he/she is from II-2 or SRGMP!

Only think that annoys me about SRGMP is regional voting. Otherwise II2 isn't even a patch on SRGMP.

And public voting quality on SRGMP is much better (not withstanding Nihira's elimination)....on II2 you have Anuj, Ravi, Panna....and that Udit ji clone voted in despite pathetic singing.....even Rajeev was better than these 4....j/k 😆

hey,this is Saregamapa forum,not II forum.

For ur kind information most of the participants in II have previously participated in SAREGAMAPA like Aditi,Rahul Vaidya,Rahul...,Amey Date.

Amet Date was in mega finals also.

Ok,just go and hear any song of SAREGAMAPA sung by anybody that 2 before 7 months when the initial rounds were going on,u'll yourself know who's better.😡

SAREGAMAPA mein TRP rating badhane ke liye GS nein aisa kiya,aajkal gana kaun sunta hai jo,sab nach gana dekhkar vote karte hain na,isliye to Nihira out ho gayi na.Twinkle bhi jab sabse kharab perform ki to bach gayi aur acha performance ke baad eliminate ho gayi,kyunki pehli baar woh shayad jyada glam dikh rahi thi.😭

haan II unites nation by sending three most deserving persons not 2 little low but bottom three,wah,is this u call a musical show or a modelling and dancing show?

Panna gets votes 'cause his smile is nice and he dances well but singing............wow,then acc to u he should be II.😊
