WHY THE FUSS

It is all about being bad losers... Coz if this whole " region-voting" was in their favor.. they wouldnt have screamed at the top of their lungs.. ;)

ok lets talk lil about regionalism....Assam is definitely a part of india, ofcourse, no doubt abt it....who said its not? as hyd is a part of india, lucnow, n mumbai r too parts of india...but Assmam ppl too should think that all the participants are indians..i am just wondering wat wud have happnd if, thr is no singer from assam, they wud have extended the same support to the singer they like? even if he is not from assam! we definitely wudnt have recieved the same number of votes...

if it comes to me, i will never vote for a contestant who is not good, even if he is from my region.(i am not saying debo is not good...tats not my point at all.) i will wholeheartedly support othr contestant whom i think is well desreved, he may b from nywhr in india..
it just needs unbaised thinking. thats all. we indians r emotional, we give in to wat our heart says..thats the main problem. ID said in one of the episodes, that we should vote thinking with heart, but not with minds. if we think with heart do we ever arrive at correct decision? just my thots...its ok no1 agrees! 😊

hi..thanks for ur comments..i do agree that people of Assam have gone overboard in supporting Debojit...but what the heck..he is talented and singing well..so why cant people of his surroundings show solidarity..they have not voted for a worthless singer...he is there in the final 12 not with the virtue of votes..but by virtue of his talent and ONLY TALENT..

And what is wrong if they have gone overboard or over the sky to make a difference. Who was stopping the rest of Indian voters to emulate that kind of support for the other contestants.

Pyar, shraddha aur pooja ki koi seema nahin hoti.

We should applaud the people who have supported their contestants and devoted everything they could to make a difference.

On the question if the people from Assam would have been equally vociferous in their support if Debo wasn't from Assam, the question is fundamentally flawed.

Of course one gets more support from their family, friends more than neighbors not that the neighbors dont wish well, but they wouldn't be as supportive. So the prominence of regional support is justified and expected.

The question is, why aren't the people of Lucknow voting as passionately for their local boy? I guess the reason is too obvious to ignore that they dont think the local boy is worth voting for😆

I totally agree -- even though I belong to Lko but now live in Bangalore, I don't feel like voting for Vinit because his performance never touches my heart whereas Debojit, Hemachandra, Nihira, and Himani have all at different times of the competition managed to touch my heart.

friends...this topic is not meant to express ones solidarity towards a contestant...the question is bigger..IS ZEE TV just trying to make a controversy out of regional sentiments and get higher TRP ratings...at the cost of talented singers?????????????

Sure it does, but the regional card is played just to rile up the other regions and drive the TPR.

As far as talented singers are concerned, Zee TV ne unko chule mein jhonk diya hai.....tel lene gaya talent....abhie to SMS ki bheek ke liye circus ke langoor nazar aate hain mentors, contestants, organizers...
