But I loved Hemas Vande Mataram and Taal song from 2-3-06 episode. I have loved 98% of all his performances. Not because I am bias or blinded fan. He was just superb. And I am not from south just FYI.

I also would like have the link to Arijit's Vande mataram. He was my fav out of FG as far as singing is concerned.

If ARR or any non-singer can sing a song that means that song is not as tough as other tough song. Anybody with thick voice and perfect sur can sing Vande Mataram better. And a trained singer like hema and Arijith can sing that song easily. To show their versatility they should attempt all kind of songs from commedy to romantic to patriotic, song like chatur naar to o mere hum dum. You might slip on sur because those songs has so many quick change of notes but with retake little mistake can be rectified but no retake can bring back the soul and touch of the song.

Hats off to you one again Swastika ji. I read all your posts.

Now I get it. The "Pundit" in all these posts was Abhilash. Well that's true. He has a great music knowledge. If some people cannot realize that, then that's a pity. There are some real musically knowledgeable members in this forum. I would give the names: Kishore Bhakta ji, Sinha ji, mdroy ji, and of course Abhi. If someone cannot digest that fact because these people have said anything against their favorites then thats your problem. There is no need to bitch about them sarcastically. Thats disgusting.

We all have favorites. My personal choice Nihira, Hema, and Debu. Almost all the singers on the top 12 are more or less good singers, and some are very good, but none of them are perfect, and all of them make mistakes, even Nihira. So, lets keep our favorites as regular singers and try not to give them a LEGEND status. We should be fans and not fanatics.

You are correct we should be fan not fanatic, all these singer needs to g long way to become just succesful singer. You are right even Nihira will need to do a lot forget about other.

I am not a musician myself but I do have a great ear for music for being married to a musician for 32 years. I have some sense. I have supported Nihira and Hema from the beginning. Ofcourse I had heard Nihira for so many years and she has been my fav for a long time.

I like Hema when I first time heard him. I got to find out about his classically trained background along his family background too. I am impressed about his mother's accomplishements and her being his Guruji. As I heard him more and more He kind a sort of grew on me. He has real manly, mature, original voice and excellent singing. Great control of sur in high and low notes. Yes he has had couple of bad days.

If He was really bad believe me I would be the first one to admint and say that I was wrong. If that was the case I would have supported Rajeev or Paresh for being Gujju since I am Gujju.

Why can't people accept one's reasons for being someone's fan and respect that? Writing with big and bold fonts or giving out their own personal analysis does not make anyone right and make others wrong. It it just their opinion. It does not change anyone's opinion but creates debates and ill feelings among members in this forum. Trust other people's intelligence in their liking.

If one does not speak offesively than the other one won't hear it defensively.

I would have prefered a direct comment. Speaking out directly is much more healthier and classy. I had expected something like that from a senior person and a senior member of this forum. May be that's not your style.

When it comes to music, I am a classically trained musician too, and just don't rely only on my hearing abilities. So, I know what I am talking about.

I don't want to continue this any further, and I rest my case. You stick to your opinions, and I will stick to mine.

I know why these people are all hiding under the mask of sarcasm and bashing members.
After the walkout, I was disgusted and wrote a review bashing every single person who was involved. Yes, I did bash Hema too. They got pissed with that. But I dunno why they've all got a honeybee in their a**. What they didn't realise was that I was bashing my OWN FAVOURITE. Mr. Hemachandra. Yes.
Then Zahidaji opened a poll where she asked whether our voting would be affected by the walkout. I polled a 'NO'. And I also wrote why.
Some people are blind to the point of being anal 😡

Arre, I said that loud, so that you could defend yourself if I was wrong. Someone said that vande mataram was an easy song... I thought it as you. Do you think I remember who said what?😆

probably,we hemu fans are in fact very, very sensitive and overprotective towards hema.when the whole forum came down so heavily on HEM("now i hate him,we wont vote for him") after the walkout, we fans were devastated 😭 .

HEM has sung so many other songs so very well,we can talk about that, excuse my ignorance(technically)but if tanhaai and sathiya had high notes, how did he fare??

Imagine my haalat after the walk-out... I am a hard core Himani fan but the members have nothing good to say about her. Even if she gives a wonderful performance, it is "Yeah, she was good but Nihira is way ahead her...." 😡

Wow, so this is what I get for standing up for you?😆

But this forum is biased against Himani, mano ya na mano. Noone can praise Himani w/o reminding that Nihira is "way ahead of her".

I personally feel that in this forum Nihira is over-rated....*runs away to save her life from Nihira fans*
