Accept the fact that -

1) Debojit defeated Vinit in Fame2005.
2) In the prelim rounds, when contestants had to be chosen for the Agnipariksha, Vinit and Debo sang together, and Vinit got a yellow, Debo got a green

assamindia, people are voting for Debo out of their love...they take pride in their son of soil and his achievemnets...and thus vote to see that he wins.

No one has forced them to do so. And, how can you weigh love and money together?

I agree with you that there are other issues of grave concern that plaugue our country, but this regionalism issue is not insignificant one, specially when watched by millions of people worldwide. It is about respecting sentiments...it is about making the people in NE feel that they are very much a part of India.

Its about giving a message to those people who perpetuate such devisive thoughts...this is simply not tolerated.

Even though I am writing so much about Debo, he was only my third best choice (among the top 5, though Vinit never figured in my top 10 list).

If public voting is in place, it should be respected.

No, they are not fighting against rest of India. They are fighting against injustice meted out to Debo (mentors are marking him low even after superb renditions).

The people in the NE love this country as much as we do. Why would they vote to fight against other people in India? Get your logic right!

Well said AssamIndia....Iam with you....Why these peple talking about the same thing again and again that Debu is nice guy....What we can do with that? Again point is Is he good in singing or not....every body knows that he doesn't sing like Hem, Nihira or Himani or vinit....No matter vinit copies Sunu or Md Rafi....When Sonu sings every body told that he copies Md Rafi and he still survives with his good singing....Even though those NE people took the revenge on rest of india by voting again and again (even though the mobile bill exceeds their salary) and if debo wins....What matters......again they have to buy his cds again and again. Nothing will happen...... Good singer will survive even though he is in good in nature or not....BTW Iam not a fan of Vinit...But I dont like debo as a singer....many people in the Final 12 can sing better than Debo....Its my openion...so no offense please
