thanks for pointing that out... yes regional voting should not be an issue... i would also like to add that it shld not matter in debo's case either.... becuz in the end we don't really know who is voting for who, like even regions are having mixed population these days

Actually Hemu is in a bad situation. All the votes he is getting from the south are not probably from southerners because most of south people don't watch Zee much, leave alone saregamapa. Mostly the votes Hemu is getting from the south could be people from various parts of north, east, west of India settled in the southern states. and the rest 60% he is getting from rest of India. Some southies who watch saregamapa could also be voting for him. This is the true representation of the Indian vote.

You may not agree with me but this is exactly the truth. Most south people watch Sun, Surya, gemini, teja channels.
