so guys chill down and learn to accept differences and nobody can force anybody to like something..its just a personal choice...
So to cut the crap short..stop reacting so violently for somebody's preference and stop bashing around these contestants..they all have worked hard in their life ..nothing is served to them on silver platter..learn to appreciate....

RIP..

I agree with you on tastes.. and abt reacting rudely to someones comment.. Here is my reaction to your comment..hope you do not take it in a bad way.

Popularity is very relative to time:
Remember Form is Temporary , Class is Permanent.
What some people are talking about is Class not form..
do you remember Shailender Singh.. had very popular songs.. never made it big. Cannot even be included in the same class as Udit and Sonu.

As far your reference to classical and its implications..no playback singer in Bollywood can be a class apart without having a classical base or have the ability to deliver semi - classical stuff..

Kishore always chided classical music but was an excellent exponent of singing semi classical stuff remember chigari koi bhadke - ( I am told this is raag bhairavi)...
But anyways he had the gift of the heavenly voice which no one till date can compare to..

All top MDs of today are excellent with classical music and that is what sets them apart and in turn makes them popular and a class act..

Don't forget the famous (from that virtuoso performance by Vinit) ---- "to VINIT mera naam naheen hai... Pardah Hai Pardah..."

That should have gotten him ZERO points, for changing the words of the song deliberately

That does not take away anything from the song.. its a live harkat.. pretty okay I think...

One the other hand .. remember Hemu on Hai Rama .. he sang it very very well.. but if you listen closely ...
"Jaaon Humko to Aati Sharm hai" became "Chaoo humko to aati sharm hai" the sentence does not meam anything in context.. it was not noticed in an otherwise good performance...

I agree with you totally on HR comments....I have been watching this show for a while and this is the first time putting down my views...I love all 3 participants..they are wonderful..nobody is less than anyone. Judges...forget what they say..they should not come in between your choice of participants...I hear what they say and forget it...i carefully watch every contenstant and the best one gets my vote always...choose the best one whether he is from Lucknow or Hyderarabad or Assam...it should be the best one out of three..all these regional issues are beyond our limit of discussion and one should never get carried away..if that happens, India can never come ahead...i do enjoy reading the critics about judges but I hate when people take those critics and link it to contestants...c'mmon be preactical and sportive....

Sandeep has the right concept of music. Most of the others giving opinions are biased to one or the other singers or their mentors.

There was nothing in your post which I found offensive..nicely pointed out.but then these are 17 yr old kids..they wld require more experience and time to become class apart.

Criticism is always good but contructive critcism...I do not know how saying that someone is gay or one is shameless and shld quit can qualify as criticism....

How come Hemu got so less in first round where he sung "Dil diya hain, jaan bhi deyege" . Both ID and HR has given him 5 each. Was he so bad? I dont think so, he can be so bad to give him 5 points........Cant wait till monday. But I would be very happy if Hema and Deboo makes it to Final two. It would be very nice to see both in the race. There will be a very big fight..............Lets see........
