Kbji is this Aaroha and Avaroha of Raga Bhairava. If it is then i have a small doubt.

What is (N)d??? Is it Komala Da????
What is S'??? Is it higher note of Sa???

This is the aroha/avaroha of Bhairava. Small d = komal dha. Note inside parenthesis means its a start of a meend. So (N)d and (G)r, means its a komal dha meended from Shuddha Ni, and komal re meended by shuddha Ga.

X = note (madhya saptak)

X' = note in higher octave (tar saptak)

'X = note in lower octave (mandara saptak)

kishore_bhaktaji - what a wonderful post this is. i have abs no idea abt ragas etc but reading ur post gives us immense knowledge...abs amazing keep writing abt such topics....hum bhi apna ghyan thoda bhadhate hain....

how should i go about it?

it is a great feeling.. i am loving it.. a year back i started writing a script but could not continue.. that require a huge effort and job pressure was too much..it will be great if i can start with smaller things like song.. guys i will not disappoint :)

i can come with lyrics of two songs...one which is a very simple ( i have already written it with the help of my friend) , just rhyming words.i have used very simple words... but beleive if you follow lyrics properly, you can make a great song out of it...

other one which i have jsut started ( though a year back) ,i can share the first two lines..

rulatein hai mujhko... woh gujri yaadein,
bulatein hai mujhko ....woh gujri rahein,
na jaane tum mujhe bahut yaad aayein...
