Final-4, comments (U.S Episode)

I know the challenge has gone a step further and my comments may be outdated or already remarked upon, but I also felt like voicing my concerns..so I apologise if I sound repetitive.

After closely analyzing yesterday's episode a few things were very evident. Even before the program started vinit and Himani seemed overconfident of their chances of getting into the top-3. It may be coz of the DNA paper interviewing them, or they felt that they sang better in the previous episode (thats another matter of debate...as I felt debo choose a tougher song..).It was very evident from vinit's body language and the way he was gesturing that debo's highest votes was not only a suprise for him, but he didn't like it at all.

All the talk about Nihira etc..was absolutely rubbish..as shaan who is also such a soft-spoken person commented that why the three not voice it before coming for the challeng.

It was defi. an impromptu decision taken by the three (mainly himani and vineet) and since they knew one of them would be gone..best is to back down.

Although I would like to comment that the mentor's also looked suprised and a little embarrased at first, but they demeaned debo and the show by passing remarks about north-east etc.

Himesh gestured (literally thumping !!!) when one of the lady's present there remarked assam is not the voice of India.

I am not from assam, but still I found this very hurtful since I see all of India as one. Each contestant represnts a state and the voting may be the flaw in the program..but it is what it is.

Anyways, the three contestants were highly disrespectful of the director,audience and mentor's to have the audocity to come on stage and voicing their opinion as soon as debo's result was announced.

And to top it I think debo sang very well yesterday. And as some people said before, the parents should have at this point itself told their kids to apologise and sing..instead of just sitting and arguing with the sudience there.

Mrigya , well written ...... i agree with you ! i also felt that when ID asked when they took this decision vinit said last night them 3 decided ....where was debo when they decided last night ? this was an impromptu decision cos they were confident that debo is gonna get out and when the tables turned they got scared and and made nihira their excuse !! what happened is sad sad sad !

You guys are absolutely right. Himesh to me seems very immature, his behaviour is not that of a mentors. I was appaled at the fact they have the nerve to bring in the fact that Debo got 80% of the votes from assam, has it not been happening that way from weeks where partcipants hometown would generally give higher votes than the rest of India. It just so happened that people were moved by the events that occured the week before and made an honest effort to vote for Debo, same could have been done by Vineet, Himani or Hema's hometowns and NOBODY would have raised an eyebrow. The only reason this happened was because they all expect Debo to be out of the show but because of the turn of events they had to create some drama to get the attention back on them, especially since the show is so close to the end.

And if the 3 of them were planning a walk out when Nihira was voted out, then I am sure Debo must've been included in this discussion as well coz the Debo episode took place 2 weeks later. But nope. And if they decided to walk out the night before does that mean they knew Debo was going to get the highest votes from before? No, because their demeanor from the beginning of yesterday's show showed overconfidence in themselves. They thought they were being diplomatic by not stating that they are walking out because of Debo getting the highest votes but their farce was way too apparent. Debo is a quality singer and has every right to be standing on that stage and their cheap tricks can't hide that.
