Choice equal from all parts of India?

Should the voting be equal from all parts of india for it to be trully the choice of the Indian public ??????????

That is a loaded question because if anyone remembers how Indian idol 1 came to be it was mainly from Maharashtra that AS got his votes..if a particluar region supports a person then that is not in the hands of the show or producers when the decision is to made on the maximum number of votes..if they make it to be that it should be 25% from each region and prorate it to the total number of votes than that is a different issue. this should be decided at the beginning of a show. how that is made statistically feasible i wouldn't know but that may satisfy everyone concerned .

If it could be worked out that would be best. the IDEAL solution IMHO would be to have 50% from some really competetent judge and rest prorated.
