Are people really deaf? Nihira is best!

I think they should change the name of the show! People who are voting do not know 'm' of music if they have really voted out Nihira!😡

I think entire mentality of Indian society is changing. People take pride in following western culture. Young kids don't communicate in their mother tongue any more! In big cities the dress culture of the teenagers has completely changed. Pub culture has increased tremendously. Virtues such as humility, straightforwardness and attitude of "Kam se matlab" are considered rudeness and shortcomings!

If this trend continues, I will not be surprised if kids of NRIs start giving performances of indian classical music in next few years, where as kids in India are busy watching MTV!

I am still not ready to believe that NIhira is gone, but if she really is then one thing is for sure that even Lata Mangeshkar would not have won this "prestigious" show!!!!!😭

Dear, No one is deaf....everybody accepts that Nihira has a nightingale's voice...but then the x-factor is missing....why you turn a blind eye towards her inablity to even keep the eyes open while singing...This is a reality show,....one needs to perform and connect...by keeping the eyes closed and standing like a statue while all dance will not beget the votes...she failed to connect to the public who vote for her...

May be then I missed something!! I thought people were supposed to vote for the best singer, not performer!! In that context if lata mangeshkar were competing against runa laila or usha uttup, Lataji would surely loose?!

It is a reality show where performance also counts... I think you have missed out on the earlier episodes when public voting kicked off!!!

Sure, but This is a different age.... Lata was in a different age... Maybe it will be good for Nihira, she is not stuck with a contract for 2 years, she will go far beyond without it!!! She has made her mark, and put her abilities on display. That is more important to get work, and she will surely get lots!!!

but it seems so unfair that girls like swananda and nihira who come from these cultured conservative background (i am not implying that others do not come from that kind of background), who are determined not to get affected by this filmi influence inspite of being surrounded by that culture, or may be it is not just there in their personality to dance and flirt, get thrown out even though they are so talented!!

Singing with 'eyes closed' or 'eyes open' should not be an issue here. So called performers(read Himani,Vineet) make so many mistakes in sur and taal while singing. Singing superior is the most important thing here, not hip shaking and making funny faces !!!

Nihira is the BEST!

So what if she has contested before and lost.. Many successfull and top celebrities in Bollywood today , came up the hard way.. Why go far top actors like Madhuri Dixit , even AB for that matter had to struggle for 4-5 years before achieving suceess.

I am all for Nihira. If she is Out , then there is nothing left in this show!!!

This show is all abt screen presence alongwith singing talents...That has nothing to do with conservative backgrounds...Nihira will do well in playback singing but when you go on shows abroad/india, you need to do more than close your eyes and sing...i hope you get the point....Nihira is too good but when it cums to performance she is just below average....At the same time Himani singa and keeps the public on their toes by her performance...i hope you agree with this...The X-Factor is missing in Nihira and we have to accept it

If you do not know the meaning and motto of SRGMP, then why do guys watch this show. It is playback singing competition, I do not know whether Lataji sings a song keeping eyes open or closed. Actually we should also listen song in this competition by keeping our eyes closed.
