I am also a Himani fan, but u should admit the fact that she is a fabulous singer. NO DOUBT ABOUT IT. She has proved it again and again, and the songs they sing is not rigged!!. They are true and we all know it that Himani is going to make it 2 finals due to her talent, and not by any rigging.

All along I had the same thoughts but then I guess I could never find the time to pen it down or feel the need to share it with the other members ....

When I joined the forum some weeks back, I had started my post in somebody's thread with the words "the show looks rigged all right ..." Over a period of time, the happenings on the show has only testified my beliefs.

I still feel a wave of sympathy for the indian public for being taken for a royal ride, for being swindled in the name of music ... music that has been grossly insulted by HR and the likes ....

I may not be a mathematical genius but I did try to calculate the probability of two participants getting a 9.053% vote of 37 lakhs ... i.e. 334961. It's lower than 0.000000008912 ...

Anyway ... the truth is out there for everyone to see .. GS has vandalized a musical show people loved to watch for the quality of music .... the show looks more like "the planet's funniest animals" on national geographic these days ....

Remeber we shared some thoughts on this and this indeed very disgusting and sad day for the Show.

It was rightly pointed out by very senior classical singer, again I do not wish to name him but he said "MOST TECHNICALLY PERFECT AND BRILLIANT SINGERS like Nihira Joshi and Hemchandra" will eventually leave the show and most underserving candidate will win this contest as it is all about Money, Fame and Show-Biz and Ego's of certain mentors.

This contest has been decided already. All we have to do is see the "Tamasha" of HR and his Topi and Pyaar gimmicks till the end.

May God always bless Nihira and her aspirations of becoming the most succesful playback singer of the Indian Musical Era.

Don't know if all that you have written is true but most definitely the show is being manipulated.

Nihira deserved to be in the final 4.From there it could have been anybody's "song".

Himani and Vinit are no doubt very good but there is nothing new in their voice.We already have Sunidhi Chauhan/ Jaspinder Narula and Sonu Nigam.
Hema and Nihira were the originals.

If Gajendraji wanted this competition to be fair,he could have invited learned musicians to judge the final 6.This has become like a popular awards event.I'm sure he reads mails/opinions coming in from all over the world.
I don't know why but my heart refuses to believe that Gajji is directly responsible for this manipulation.He is succumbing to some pressures from the channel and other sources,I think.
I suggest that in future,he ask for the contestant's video tape to know their dancing ability along with the audio for audition.Should save precious time for the likes of Nihira or atleast they will take some dance classes before they enter the contest. 😡

Agreed that these music directors are working in a competitive industry and have to survive,but what example have they set for the young singers? So much ego and double standards!
I can't help laughing when some of them stress on being original,even as they lift tunes and are masters at plagiarism.

Pandit Jasraj was so right when he said that all newcomers have a mentor and role model they look up to,so it's ok to emulate to start with.But the one's who develop their own style are the ones who last.
Sorry I went off track.....

All those video clippings which have nothing to do with the talent and immature love stories of 16/17 year olds make the show look ridiculous.I can't believe that people actually vote because they think these winners will go and do some community serivice.

My Favourites are Nihira and Hema but I like Himani and Vinit a lot too,so who actually wins does not matter.That it's being manipulated does!!!

Simplyskud, Maanas, Akshata and all: Thanks for reading and commenting. We all had our suspicions, I just ventured on to make a lightning rod wherein we could pour out our feelings. I have always been interested in the game behind the game because there is always one.

Now with ID loosing his cool, let us see if GS sticks to the deal or cuts more deals to bring ID back (Saudagar, Saudagar ....) Keep writing because it is making for some very interesting reading. Yeh tho French connection ka bhi baap nikla...

I thought some of you would say I am totally crazy and have lost it but surprisingly aisa nahin hua. Maybe those guys are shy to put it down but I take criticism very well so please criticize too and do not hold back because from this ultimately will come the next Zee show

I was just thinking....
All this could be an act to bring up the TRPs. The "editing" done cleverly to keep the viewers intrigued,Rajiv from Chamba being in the final 8 to show that it's a fair show.How many people outside Chamba could have voted to keep him in and oust Sharib?
Paresh going in the final 6 to keep overseas viewers happy.

He redefined SRGMP.To Gajji now SRGMP seems to be:
S- Show biz
R-Rap music
G-Glamour
M-Money
P-Pop music

In the Kapil Dev show, GS had given us the message thereby setting the stage for Nihira's Red Light - I watched 4 messages which I received very well:
1.ID starts by saying "Jab Jab yeh gana logon ney gaya hai voh bahut burey tara Harey hain (No brainer)
2.NJ's AV shows her dancing poorly, biting her nails and everyone saying "Dance ka kuch relation hee nahin hai uske saath" (Negative marketing)
3.ID went to stage to Bless the competitior HK (whose side is he on)
4.HR says at end, vote for Nihira "yeh na sochna key koi aur vote karega uska liyey"(in other words, I am telling now why she will loose)

Oh Boy, GS was lowering our expectations so openly – the writing was on the wall.

Well it seems they have decided the winners as we the junta is fooled by the GS and all people in the show. This time I tweaked the sifymax site and voted for nihira for around 6hrs continuously ( with DSL it must be around 200000 votes as program refreshes every 30 sec and takes 12-14 secs to vote) so either they are neglecting internet votes(as this was done on friday night in US) or the show is fixed but the second possibility seems real as they can't get 60lakh votes by sms or phone...
What i learnt is don't get emotionally involved in these stupid shows but feel bad also as the deseving contestants like nihira, sharib etc.. lost those 6-7 months for nothing... So the people participating in the future watch out for your priorities as even though you are deserving it doesn't mean that you will get justice..
Annyways lets see what other surprises are in the show as thats the only indian entertainment i have here..
