Nihira: technically awesome :superb range control, sweet voice quality(which appeals to masses), being favourite of all mentors including AS who has given her high scores many times. She falls in the league of Sunidhi, Richa Sharma, Alisha :her other strengths: good communication & great singing style. She will do very well in live performances.
I think she should be more careful about song selection.

In my opinion it is unwise to compare them because they have totally different singing style and mode and would do well in their genres. Also their fans shouldn't forget that we already have a no. of good singers in both genres, so it is likely that they will face stiff competition.Winner can be only one: but the second would also do well..
Sorry.......if this topic is overdone......

again.........mindblowing, fantastic, superb, outstanding comparison...........but my vote goes to Himani.

Nihira is the best but Himani is not much behind. Nihira has her own niche and Himani has her own. But I appreciate Himani more because she has improved a lot during SRGMP competition, this is shows she is a very good learner. But I still think Nihira has edge over Himani. I like this topic and Nsinha Keep these kind of topic alive.

I agree fully. Before the agnipariksha rounds, I was of the opinion that-- "There is this gal Nihira.....and then there are others". But with all those superlative performances in agnipariksha rounds--one after another-- Himani has made me eat my words. So before agnipariksha, I would have rated Nihira as 10 and Himani as 6. Now I would rate Nihira as 10 and Himani as 8.5 or 9.

Nihira was consistent all way through but Himani came from behind and improved a lot over the course. She deserves an appreciation for this.

I think both Nihira and Himani will rock the Hindi music world in coming years. You go Himani...hats off to you!!!

I must add, like in the real business world, it is your fierce competitor that keeps you on your toes. It is Himani that keeps Nihira improving all the time and taking bigger risks like the HRHK song.

As Mr. Kunal Gangawalla said "Survival of the fitest". Even existing singers are looking at this competition and doing more riaz. Eat ot be eaten is the message of the hour. Cannot get complacent. Jo dar gaya samjho mar gaya.

Totally agree with you asha rao that Nihira is the best....she can sing almost all kind of songs in bollywood whereas Himani can sing only few types of songs....I really hope that Nihira wins.....Go Nihira Go....all the best!!!!
