I am originally from Bangladesh, settled in U.S. I am 24. I am a Software Design Engineer, working in Microsoft Corporation. I live in Redmond, WA. My jaan, my husband is from Hyderabad, India. He is 26 and the most handsome boy in the world. He is also an SDE in Microsoft. I've been watching SAREGAMA since the day it started. I was in 9th grade then. I love music. I completed a 8-yr long course in Classical (Katthak) and Bangladeshi folk dance and earned a Diploma. I achieved many awards as well and the most memorable one was when I received one of the awards from the President of Bangladesh. However, I am not into dance anymore since I wanted to take my studies seriously and the competitions, functions used to take away a lot of my study time. My mom and my brother are very good singers.
My most favorite singers are Mohd. Rafi, Sonu Nigam, Lata Mangeshkar, Alka Yagnik, Chitra, Shreya and Nihira. My favorite composers are Naushad Sahab, O.P. Nayyar, R.D. Burman, A.R. Rahman and Ismail Darbar.

Guys I am Musiqaar born in India but live in the US have travelled world over. This forum is the best I have ever come accross. Many forums in the US of Indian origin suck big time. As they are filled with a lot of intolerance, hatred in the name of regionalism, religion etc and the moderaters of this forum are real nice ppl. They are cool. Keep up the good work.
Question to Mr T.Bhaskar. I need to change the spelling of my sign- in name from Musiqar to Musiqaar with a double A can I do that without loosing seniority?
