Hi friends,

Currently looking for a job as well as awaiting my retirement (Planner ko sab plan karna padta hai yaar).

A little about Norway : Norway is the heaven on earth. Peter jackson may have used New Zealand for shooting, Tolkien's middle earth and land of hobbits is Norway- mystic, misty, mountains . Its language 'norwegian' comes close to german. But people do talk in english too (I still cant speak norwegian :-(). Though keeps a low profile, it is the wealthiest of nations and also have been topping the human development index for last 4 years (the index that determines number of facilities available per capita). It is so rich that it is not funny. One eg. : it gives pots of money for child-birth to anyone with a social no. (which includes students too!!).
Norway comes closest to a socialist democratic society. It has neither very rich nor poor. The picturesque landscape is breathtakingly beautiful with mountains, fjords, glaciers and greenery. Though its quite a long country (its tip touches russia), the population is very low (secret of all success, i guess). Its the safest possible place one can get.
NTNU's departments of marine, petroleum and hydropower are one of the best and they provide enough funding to developing countries. It is a very environment friendly country (though petroleum is the main resource, is mostly stocked up for future).
If u r not afraid of cold, norway should figure in your travel plans.
Just bcos i became a groupie today doesnt mean i should get carried away!!!
Best regards.
