No I am not saying that...He can sing with or w/o the peti but for some singers that is their kind of mental security blanket that they feel the need to have it with them or in their hand...Gave u example of guitar...Comfort zone..

DO u watch American Idol? this yr casey and crystal both had to have a guitar...and they needed to get out of that comfort zone and sing w/o to show their adaptability...I am not sure I am explaining this right...

Hmmm, I enjoy Ranjeet's ghazal's - there's a youthful novelty to his approach. It is a great exposure for the genre and since that is his forte so be it.

Exactly my point. We know that Ranjeet has loads of potential in him, why doesn't he utilize it to improve his scope of singing, thus giving him a better chance in winning the contest and even if he doesn't, increase his range and all....he has been a consistently great singer till now, but my point is that what if Mugdha sung what she was comfortable with ie operas? What then??? She would also be a flawless performer. BUt at least she is toying around with songs outside her comfort zone.

I never said he's bad, he's pretty good, but to prove yourself as a true singer.
