Regarding his voice in latest episode:
Could be an involuntary, psychological rejection of pressures upon him to alter his forte.
He is very young, afterall.
[Nice test might have been to request a ghazal of him immediately after the song.]
Especially in this age of specialization a 'Jack of All Trades Can be Master of None' holds true.
Ranjeeet's thing is ghazals. So be it.
Our buddy is probably in line for the hot seat. I sincerely hope, if and when the time comes, that the Bon-voyage message will serve to strengthen him. I'd be first in line to buy his CD.
