very true but the way these guys (zee and gaj-ji) are going - they want to make people vote on the base of personality as well - whats the need to mention that sharib thanks his parrents regularly or show clippings of rajeev cooking for his friends etc.

the old format was better - if u say that this is a music show, then show only music and concentrate on that... they are drifting away from that now...

Ditto. My thoughts exactly. I hope after the challenge they change the show back to its original format. I hate the level of negativity on the sets and all of the mentors' comments completely destroy the integrity of the show. Can you imagine being berated on international television? Not only are they drifting away from music, they are drifting away from the simple concept that all individuals, no matter where they came from, or what their financial income is, have the right to be treated respectfully in front of millions of people..!

Hihira is 19 years young - a child prodigy as far as I am concerned. Are we to punish her for dedicating her life passionately to music and making inroads where the others have not been. The others are less passionate and less hard working so let us PUNISH the passionate, hard working girl - Right?? Pagalpan ki bhi had hoti hai. If you keep thinking like this, we will have to get a Psychee to "analyze this".

Your topic is unfair! How can you say such things when the organisers have selected her by abiding the rules and regulations they must have set for the show.
Please do not discourage music lovers and also sincere, serious and talented singer like Hihira by posting such topic.
