GAJRAJ is a LUNATIC. He has ruined the show, by doing a jugalbandi between khaana khazana, India Fashion parade and the legendary SRGMP.

Barbad gulistaan karne ko jab ek hi ullu kafi hai, har saakh pe baitha hai ullu anjaam-e-gulistaan kya hoga.

Needless to mention the besura crows and the braying donkeys on ths show.

ID in this episode at least has given away points recklessly. Probably he was not in his mind. My God, he was so rude to Debo.

As regards ID being rude to his protege's nothing surprising there, though as someone mentioned earlier - he was was very generous last night doling out the marks.

As usual Nihira came up with a song that had a gr8 range and gave a performance pretty flawlessly. I am just amazed that she chose that song and rendered it so effortlessly.

Very surprising was Himani who rendered Dholna by Mudgal the prev evening and had no power last evening with Asha's Nisha from Sanam Teri Kasam. She kept nodding her head like those dolls with springs in their necks. I recorded the show and was listening to the vocals than viewing the screen and the vocals were pretty flat.

Twinkle I thought would pull herself out off the rut, with a performance like Daiyya Re (Caravan) but failed to impress. But ID seemed to be quite content, I guess thats what matters.

As regards Ujjaini, can do better, but was definitely better that her prior 2-3 performances. I was glad to see her stand on the stage and sing vs perform. I wish someone wld tell her not to keep reiterating her choice of foregoing school to take up singing. This was her choice, she might lose out some votes if she keeps yamming her loss.

Did not find Rajiv's cooking incident even close to being humorous, I think it was pretty rude. I dont know how he even agreed to the dream sequence and the cooking after that. I guess since our junta is quite taken in by drama would not be suprised if the votes poured in his favor to keep him afloat. His perf. the prev evening - Nusrat's song was good. Aadesh seems to be covering up all his kids shortcomings and seems to get away with it.

Very unexpected - Hemachandra not performing up to the mark and was slammed.

Pls guys concentrate on the singing and not on dancing. These clothes and the dancing is getting to these youngsters. Dont blame them, they are being made idols and it is very hard to keep your head on your shoulders.

Again Debu the same problem - too much emphasis on perf vs singing and was made aware of it by none other than his guru.

I liked both Sharib and vinit's performance. Though did not understand the reason for the verbal slanging between HR and AS.

Well we will wait and watch as to what happens next week.

Was very disappointed to see Swananda go. As someone pointed out earlier. Gajendra needs to wake up now and stop public voting and get judges to judge the program and of course lay ground rules on how the candidates are being judged.

However, RD song's are remembered usually for the power and emotion conveyed in his songs. All the participant's except Nihira lacked the power in the voice which was painfully obvious when Kunal Ganjawala sang-his voice is so powerful and energized the atmosphere. Vinit was extra dull today

Mc zee i also thought that debojit sang well , was a little surprised when the metors comented on his singing .

I absolutely agree with your assesment on Vinit and Kunal. Not that it is a
fair comparison since Kunal is now a seasoned playback singer.

I really like Debo and I love his voice and singing style. But his
performance in the RDX round was not good. I think that the reason
Debo got slammed is that he did not sing the correct notes and changed
the tune. Separately, he went besura in a few places. So even if his voice
was sick, there is no excuse for not knowing the tune of the song. Ismail
was right to chastise him.

When these very popular classic songs are performed, there is no room
for those kinds of mistakes, because they are too obvious. I know that
some people feel that JL needlessly attack participants on these points,
but they are correct to do so. It is much harder to pick up a new song
rather than a known one. So the least the singer can do is sing it
correctly. I also think that JL were right to point out Twinkle's
pronounciation mistake. At this level, there is really no excuse for that
either. Twinkle is from Lucknow so I am sure that she was fully capable
for pronouncing the words properly.

Today's performance round was called RDX--RAHUL DEV BURMAN's EXPLOSIVE SONGS!!!!!

The show opened with a nice performance of MEHBOOBA MEHBOOBA by all the contestants.

Then JAI HO gharana was the first to perform...

HEMACHANDRA was disappointing in his performance of BACHNA AE HASEENO....in the "MENTOR-METER" ID gave him 7, HR & JL gave 3 each. HEMA said his voice was not ok....n AS defended him, but when JL n HR tried to xplain their low votes AS was very fiery n went to the extent of saying "HEMA bohat bura gaata hain, koi bhi usse vote mat dena plz!!!" 😲 😕 I had a feeling this was just the beginning of the war of words.

HIMANI performed next and did well with the song JAANEJA(DHIN TINAK DHIN NISHA one)....her votes were ID-8, HR-6, JL-8...n AS praised her performance.

RAJEEV was not up to the mark with DEKHA NA HAI RE...his vote ID-6, HR-4, JL-3....n AS again raised the issue that the track for RAJEEV was not suitable for his high range voice..the other mentors also agreed.

Then came the sole survivor from DUM gharana...SHARIB....he was his usual best with his performance of YAMMA YAMMA...his votes were ID-9, HR-8, AS-7..n JL urged the public to vote for him so that he could fulfill his dreams.

Next came the YALGAAR gharana......

TWINKLE was first up...n her performance was far better than last week n she seemed to b concentrating more on her singing as she performed HATOOBA....her votes were HR-6, JL-5, AS-5....ID said "Aajke performance ke bare mein mera koi gila shikwa nahin hain..main khush hoon!"

DEBOJIT was up next and he disappointed with DIL LENA KHEL HAIN DILDAR KA.....his votes were HR-5, JL-5, AS-2.....n ID criticised him saying "Itne chumme milne ke baad to tum bigadte jaa rahe ho....age bado nahi to chumma wapas de do"...DEBU tried to say "Gala kharab hay" but ID was having none of it.."Har koi yehi kehta hain...gala kharab hain to gaana mat gao..hamare sar mat khao!!"

And then came the best performance of the evening👏 👏 👏👏...NIHIRA just blew everybody away with her performance of HARE RAMA HARE KRISHNA...if I remember correctly the song was originally sung by USHA UTHUP n ASHA-ji...n NIHIRA showed why she's considered the best, by singing the song which is in two different octaves(base for USHA UTHUP n higher notes by ASHA-ji)...n no wonder all the mentors were showering praises on her...perfect 10 from all three mentors second week in a row...ID just said "Aapna consistency aise hi rakhna...pura 10 pane ki chakkar mein pagal mat hona!"

Remaining gharana was JAI HO.....

VINEET performed well in AAJA AAJA....but AS raised the issue that the track created for VINEET was custom made so as to help him..n without that help (a click sound that helped VINEET keep his notes correct) he wouldn't have sung so well....HR reacted angrily n the war of words continued...finally the mentors voted..ID-9, JL-7, AS-10..n he said " Main isse 10 de raha hoon iss ka koi importance nahi hain...main 3 bhi de sakta tha....ya 1....ya kuch bhi nahi..."

UJJAINI was good with her performance of DUNIYA MEIN LOGON KO..her votes were ID-9, JL-8, AS-6...HR said she was getting back to the level when she performed HAAN MAINE CHUKAR DEKHA HAINin an earlier episode.

Finally PARESH performed JAHAN TERI YEH NAZAR HAIN...but this was not his best performance..his votes ID-9, JL-5, AS-10.....n HS said he was happy n that PARESH should ask for votes in Gujrati...but PARESH stammered n couldn't get the words out n said he's forgetting Gujrati while learning Hindi.😊

The show ended with the appearance of surprise guest n SA RE GA MA's own KUNAL GANJAWALA..he reminsced bout his beginning n performed DEKHA NA HAI RE...which was also his first song in SA RE GA MA way back when...we got to c the clip of very young looking KUNAL with the then host SONU n surprise surprise the judge in the background was young looking AADESH!!!😆

Anyways that was the show...hope u njoy the update!!!!

This issue about not choosing suitable track ........ is he forced to sing these unsuitable songs or is it that he messes up when choosing songs. And why does AS supports him all the time? messed up

I was quite ok with Paresh's delivery, though I had my initial reservations his coming into the finals. He has been rendering some gr8 vocals in these last few rounds. I felt he was good with his "tappori" rangeela number, and last evening with his performance fm the movie Kaalia was impressive. I felt that his emulation of the Big B mannerisms and Kishore's singing were blended in quite well. I was pretty disappointed with HR's comments for Paresh.

Watched the 25th show. Debojit was not bad, and the one sentence he uttered did show his voice was bad, don't understand ID's comments of don't chew our brains, go home.... what is this outburst for? He knows the guy sings very well and he slipped once so he doesn't have to berate him so rudely, it would demoralize the top most singers, forget about these guys who are at centre stage now... Nihira again is a thrill to hear, so is Himani and Ujjaini for once without the usual naatak. Sharib was good and so was Vinit, whatever that guy sings, he sings with depth, so AS can go kiss his ....

For God's sake pls. stop Ganja mama (sorry Gajendra mama)from airing more of Rajeev's dreams 😡 has Ganja mama been promised free food for 1 year? is that why he keeps showcasing Rajeev's dreams et al... 😕 if only he could see my dreams - it has Ganja and Rajeev in the frying pan with AS as masala.
