Where is the band??

Earlier there used to be the band and ppl used to sing accordingly, where is the band now, so do we assume that they are all pre-recorded, in todays performance, i saw in vinits and paresh performance they were cuts, yes cuts, which i think wont be there in live performance.did anyone else observe this
