I see that you are advocating free will. That still doesn't explain natural disasters and innocent people dying, including children (who have nothing to do with the right choices!). Free will also sys nothing about animals and their suffering.

Actually, I think Cloddy was already on DM on his own. I remember recruiting him to the "dark side" (ie SRGMP). 😆 Those were definitely the golden days.
actually cloddy came to srgmp looking for my LOIF thread that I happened to mention in DM😆 So, cloddy was ultee ganga - flowing from DM to SRGMP.

Nah, I don't believe in regrets. I love DM! :) Umm, I think I can take some credit for DM's transformation into slightly more light-hearted humor than there used to be. 😉 But I do think its becoming all too light-hearted these days. 😆

Speaking of regrets, I shall share my current FB status with you:
"Just if" are perhaps the two most depressing words in the English language. And "I tried" are the two most inspiring.

Natural disasters occur because man messes up with nature lot more than he should be. So, at some level, free will does explain the causes of most of the natural disasters these days.

Energy is the only constant. It can neither be created nor destroyed. it could only be transformed from one state to another.
The first level question then becomes "where did this energy come from..."

If u delve more then the question doesn't stop there ....
Energy is simply the ability to do work.
What is work?
Work is the exertion of force over a distance.
What is force?
Force is the change in momentum of an entity with respect to time.
What is momentum?
Momentum is a relative measure of the inertia of one system with respect to another.
What is inertia?
Inertia is the resistance of an entity to change in state of motion.
What is motion?
... ad infinitum

So, if a meteor were to hit the earth, that too is somehow our fault?

How often do you see a meteor hitting the earth? You missed the bolded part on my post above.
