biased to a particular person.Debojit sings well but he is not good compare to many singers in this contest.I believe he is getting votes because of some particular
community, which is sad for singing and insult to our great culture.

I absolutely agree with you. HR has indeed been doing a bit of drama but I think he's narrowed it down a bit and I liked how when Shaan asked him on Monday what would happen if VInit was lost he said how "they'll just try to find another way"...thats what Ismailji should do--which he is planning on, so he should def come back and support the ones who are left, as he has continously always supported all the singers in a positive way. I think debojit is a fantastic singer but when compared with the other singers, he lags a bit behind. If he is getting all the votes from a certain region, thats fine but in the essence of the matter that won't be very useful for his future career because no one is going to want to buy his albums from anywhere else. However its not just debojit, everyone wants to vote for someone from their region, and im not sure we can blame them. And i do think Ismailji was genuinly upset and had reason to be, but if he doesn't come back then that would be a bit out of control because he should stick by his contestant through the end. Only one challenger can win, and so two of the mentors will eventually have to lose their challenger. Nihira's situation was unfortunate, but I'm sure she can make it big, she has already sung for Bunty and Babli so I'm sure she can make it. And Himani is an excellent singer as well. I think at this point there are only 4 challengers and their all really good, so whoever wins, it will be for the best.

To Saskatonian

Maybe you should check your vision and hearing because from what I saw and heard, did not Jatinji say that his "mitr" was upset in his dressing room before the show could begin? Did he not also mention that ID experienced a great "sadma" at Nihira's ousting? ID also stated when he got up that before he is ousted he would rather get out on his terms. If Jatin Lalit behaved this way weeks ago when their gharana lost then whats the point of this competition.

Maybe the scoring of Debojit was the last straw but why make it a personal attack on Aadeshji? I understand the fact that all ID fans will look for justification in his behaviour, but you have to also understand that I am entitled to my opinions as much as you are to yours so there is no need to get personal or vindictive. Try to be more respectful.

This just reiterates my point that emotional maturity is sorely lacking.

Hey, This does not mean that I am not a fan of ID's music as well. Because I do love his music and in no way do I claim to be an expert on any of this. I just feel that at this stage the gurus/mentors should be choosing suitable songs for their contestants....and if someone does not sing up to par then acknowledge it and move on. Stop making excuses like its a difficult song or a triple layer track....etc etc

Definetly Nihira is a very good singer and I am dead sure that she is going to enjoy more success than anybody else in the lot. At this point contest is at the point where all are very good singers(well the weakest one is Debojit but he has shown very good performances recently). So whoever get eliminated will be good and has the potential to be the winner but got eliminated just by luck(or we should say ignorance to vote by his/her fan?)

However, I don't feel happy to see someone winning due to regional votes. If you pay attention to metropolitan cities they are voting across the contestant. May be in future they should add some weightage factor to all the regions to get some fair winner.

Won't disagree with you on that 😃

But this is probably the one time I am in agreement with Adesh. Ismail has been acting like a brat the last few episodes. Noticed this since twinkle went out.

There is only so much abuse a person can take (especially from a sore nobody like Adesh) and there is only so much infustice a person can tolerate- I support ID for walking out on an idiot like Adesh S and not putting up with his BS anymore. Well done ID!!!

Ummm.. Ismail owes it to Deboo to see him through the competition. Did u see Jatin Lalit throw tantrums when their contestants (and pretty good ones I might add) were chucked out of the competition. I agree he has a lot to be upset about when Nihira was unjustly booted. But trying to get sympathy votes for Deboo after an ordinary performance, tsk tsk!

Look, I admit Deboo chose a tough song but that was his choice. Unlike the other contestants, he has actually gone "besoor" during his last 2 performances and that IMHO is inexcusable at this stange in the competition

It is such a shame Indians from the north use the words like Southie, Madrasi etc., Madras is a city, it does not represent the whole of south India. South Indians for most part atleast know the different states and the languages in the north instead of giving a general name.
Hema is doing great just like some of the others, the language issue should never have come up. I have heard SPB singing for Salman Khan many a time.

Gajendra Singh says one of the judges is out to nix Sa Re Ga Ma Pa

Subhash K Jha

The plot thickens. After walk-outs, show-downs, tears and trauma, Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challenge producer-director Gajendra Singh now claims that one of the judges on his show is out to sabotage it.

"I haven't slept for more than forty-eight hours," says an anguished Singh. "My show is is in jeopardy. My show is being reduced to one of those cheap reality-television programmes on the other channels where contestants pretend to faint and then they are revived when water is sprinkled on them. I've been doing the show for more than a decade and have never been visited by this kind of trouble before." Singh reveals that the most recent scandal on the show, namely the threat by three contestants Vinit, Hemachandra and Himani to quit and their effort to malign and discredit Debojit, have been orchestrated by one of the judges.

"It was he (refuses to disclose the identity) who instigated those innocent kids into behaving in this fashion. He couldn't bear to see another judge steal all the limelight by staging a walk-out," he says. "So he decided to be a star-judge in his own right. His conspiracy backfired and my show suffered in terms of credibility. I plan to expose this man who abused the guru-shishya relationship after the finals. At present I need to salvage the show and boost the finalists' morale." In a startling revelation, Singh defends controversial contestant Debojit's alleged ULFA links. "What ULFA links? I agree one of the Sa Re Ga Ma assistants did receive a call from someone claiming to be part of ULFA. But has anyone verified Debojit's connection to the call?," he asks. "Are we hounding him just because he has support from his home- state Assam? Vinit's mother has gone on record accusing this particular judge of dubious intentions. I agree, Himani's elimination from the show was tragic. But the show must go on, and it will."

WHODUNIT?

Ismail Darbar: Stormed out of the sets, on-camera, when his favourite contestant Nihira Joshi was eliminated, only to return to the show later. He stormed out again on the same day, protesting against the alleged partiality displayed by Srivastav and Reshammiya. Darbar alleged that the two gave less marks to his protege Debojit.

Adesh Srivastava: Threatened to quit the show on the grounds of co-judge Ismail Durbar's high-handed behaviour. The two were involved in a verbal dual where neither minced any words.

Himesh Reshammiya: Midway through the contest Reshammiya was awarded a Brahmastra, which enabled him to get two contestants (who've been voted out) back into the show. The two contestants were Paresh and Ujjaini. Reshamiyya also claimed that he had given offers to aspirants, which miffed Jatin-Lalit no end.

Jatin-Lalit: They were peeved by the tall claims Reshamiyya made about giving some of the contestants the much-needed break. They claimed that these so-called offers rarely materialise in the music industry.

* Darbar has been cleared by Singh. So, who do you think it is:
a) Srivastava b) Reshammiya c) Jatin-Lalit.
